Ubud City Tour is specially designed for the travelers who want to explore Bali in short trip, duration of the tour is 5 - 7 hours. The tour will be started at 12.00 from your hotel and we will visit Ubud Monkey Forest, Palace, and Art Market. Next, we will continue the trip and visit Tegalalang Rice Terrace. 1. Sacred Monkey Forest Sanctuary
Ubud Monkey Forest is a nature reserve and also a religious temple complex with great significance to the local Balinese people. Home to about 340 Crab-eating Macaque monkeys, there is no doubt you will see masses of local wildlife in their natural habitat. The monkeys are split into 4 groups or families, and occupy different spots of the park.
2. Puri Saren Palace
Ubud Palace where the local people said by Puri Saren is one of the famous places of interest in Bali. It is the favorite places to visit during Ubud Tour. It is located right in the center of Ubud Village, the most famous tourist place in the island with live cultures are performed every night. It is featured by the Ubud King's Family Temple located in the north east of the palace.
3. Ubud Traditional Art Market
Ubud Market it's tenants provide every souvenir item imaginable, from silver jewelry, and precious stones to batiks, T-shirts, beach sarongs, wood carvings, and cane work bags. Each stall is packed with goodies; some items are even hung from the ceilings. Since it's a traditional market, expect crammed allies and unpleasant smells every now and then.
4. Tegalalang Rice Terrace
The Tegallalang rice terraces alone offers a scenic outlook that spreads down before you and away to the rice paddies on the slopes across the valley. The high roadside location is cool and breezy and it is a well-known spot for tourists to stop and take photos. Painters and nature lovers also enjoy visiting this spot, and there are numerous art kiosks and cafes near the ledge offering their ware.

Monkey forest and rice terrace was great! Completely worthwhile to see. Palace was nothing special and could have been missed. Our driver Mera shared so many interesting details about the sights along the way which truly added to our experience!

Monkey forest was great! Take a selfie with the monkeys, it’s was the best part! Rice terrace was amazing but the Palace was just ho-hum. Our driver Wena was very nice and attentive but we were disappointed that he wasn’t a “guide” so we didn’t get any insights into the local culture or sights that we passed along the way.

Fabulous trip. Budi our driver was wonderful, kept us on track for our itinerary and took us to a wonderful restaurant too. The most enjoyable aspect is he didn’t push us to do other things and was very good at giving us background information without overwhelming us!
The little extras of bottled water in the car was gratefully received.
I would definitely recommend this trip!

Our guide was very professional and respectful. Always on time and his car was very clean. Monkey forest and rice terrace were great. The Palace is not worth the visit and art market is good if you want to do some shopping.

We did the half day tour with Nyoman & very much enjoyed seeing the real Bali. Nyoman was friendly, polite, prompt & very accommodating towards our needs & wants. Great half day tour if you are looking for something shorter (I still left the hotel at 9am and got back around 3pm but it’s not a full day out). My driver Irwan was extremely friendly and taught me a lot about Balinese culture during the drive, which was wonderful. The monkey forest was fun and he guided me through and then dropped me off at Ubud Palace and the art market and asked how much time I wanted to spend and then he would pick me up after. It was nice having some free time to walk around. Our final stop were the rice terraces which were cool but honestly a a bit ruined with the tourism and all the zip lines and swings but still a very cool place to see and I assume the entrance fee goes to the local community. Overall it was a great tour to do as a solo traveler or even in a small group.

Lunch and drinks are not included so I’d suggest bringing water and snacks and if you’re really hungry grabbing some food in Ubud when you’re there.

Excellent day tour; driver was prompt to pick up at the hotel. I was the only passenger, so it was a very personal tour. Thankyou Darma 😄 He spoke excellent English, & explained all the history, religion & culture of Bali & Indonesia, which made it such an interesting day!
