For those who want more!
This 2 hour journey will lead you on top of both on Reykjavik Peak and Wolf Peak Mountain.
You will begin your day by being picked up by the ATV Operator team taken to their newly made headquarters with well equipped bathrooms and free coffee available.
After the briefing is done you will set your atv journey across Hafravatn Lake, Icelandic wilderness and ascend to Reykjavik Peak enjoy the view and after conquering Reykjavik Peak you will start ascending to a more steep mountain named Wolf Peak Mountain. These two mountains will give you fanstastic view over Faxafloi bay, Esja mountain, Reykjavik capital, blue mountains. You can also see the steam coming from the Hellisheidi Geothermal power plant that provides heat to homes in Reykjavik.
No alcohol or drug tolerance is allowed on our tours.

Travelling as a family with 2 teens it's not always easy to get things to do that make everyone happy, but we cracked it with this. The kids said it was their favourite activity (from a pretty amazing trip). It was well organised, well supplied, you were given snow suits, gloves and helmet. The ATVs had heated handlebars, which was good as it was seriously cold as we drove up the side of a hill/mountain? I was nervous but the ATVs were surprisingly easy to drive and very stable. Even in very tricky terrain they were solid as a rock and I got quite confident quite quickly. The tour itself was beautiful and ends in a really stunning location. Very, very highly recommended

We booked through Viator as a back up option due to other excursions being cancelled and it didn't disappoint!
The overall experience was excellent, we even changed the booking to the next day, which they accommodated straight away.
The guides were great, humorous, informative and friendly.
The views were amazing - we had two stops for a photo opportunity as the sun was setting over the mountains and across the iced over lake (1pm ride in January).
The ATVs were comfortable and accommodating for 2 people and you have the opportunity to swap drivers. Fully kitted out with snow suit, snood, helmet and gloves.
Fully recommended half day trip from Reykjavik.

My wife and I had a quad each. We had a great time and nice and warm with all the gear provided. We did 2 hours in the snow a couple of stops and then back to riding around. Gave me my adrenaline kick for a few days!

Just came back from Iceland for an NYE break. Originally we had booked snow mobiles but the company we had booked our package with emailed to say it had overbooked so we had to get a refund. Looking for something else to do instead I came across the ATV experience… and what an experience it was! Best thing I’ve ever booked to do! My husband and I shared a quad which I was relived about as I’m an ok driver but I personally wouldn’t be brave enough to drive on the route we did. So I was passenger princess and took amazing photos along the route. The seats were so comfortable! I was really surprised how padded they were! The route is totally off road in some parts, covered in snow and ice. It was fantastic. We were taken up to the mountains… across frozen lakes, through snowy fields, breathtaking! My husband absolutely loved driving and now wants a quad (not happening!) The instructors stopped every 15 mins or so depending on our surroundings and how safe it was to do so, checked that everyone was ok and we either stopped for photos or just a quick rest bite. They were so lovely and were pointing out parts on the tour or what areas were when we stopped. Our main instructor said he’d been doing it for 2 years and never had he been on such an icy route but he was so professional and really made sure we were all ok which I think helped towards an enjoyable and safe ride for all of us on the tour! You are given really good thermal suits and gloves but I wore a rather long coat which I had to fold up to get the suit on… wear a short coat! It’s freezing when you get out there so make sure you have thermals etc on and a coat under the suit!
Overall it was amazing! I’d do it again tomorrow if I was still in Iceland! Thank you to the team and everyone in the group for a really incredible experience! I’d recommend to anyone especially this company as it was so seamless from pick up to drop off. 10 out of 10!

More than plain vanilla adventure, it was super fun, it was challenging, was exciting, full of GREAT VIEWS! Our guide did a great job to keep us entertained. When I booked I thought this would be basic, boring, disney slow stile. But happily I was completely wrong. Loved it and will do again whenever back in Iceland.

Oh my days what a day, Twin peaks 2 hour adventure is a bloody must! The staff/tour guides were excellent.
Go do it, you will not regret it.

Everything from start to finish, our instructor was amazing and we had a great time, one of the best things I have ever done, glad we did the 2 hours. It literally took my breath away!

The views were amazing. It was cloudy at first but the second lookout was clear. The 2 hour ride was sufficient and exciting. Guides were friendly and pickup dropoff was smooth. My only tip was that the pickup location wasn't exactly clear as I was new to the area. A visual map would have been helpful after signing up.
