The most breathtaking landscape views in medieval villages with interesting history! De’Ricci winery tour and lunch was spectacular with super friendly guides and knowledgeable staff who made us feel so welcome & enriched us with the fascinating story of their legacy. A big thank you to, Paolo, our Walks guide, for his kindness and for making sure this experience was special for us!! I wish I was still there!

This tour was truly fantastic! Well worth the early morning and long day. Our tour guide Giulio was very knowledgeable and kind. The winery was a huge highlight and they were even able to accommodate my gluten free dietary restriction. The food served was incredible and the wine was good if you like a dry wine. Even if you don't like to drink wine this tour is worth it for the food, views, and history. My only feedback for improvement would be to allow for more time at the first two stops and less at the last as we got bored.

The scenery was beautiful but not worth the price in my opinion. I chose this experience thinking because the cost was so much more than the others that it would be something amazing. It was ok.

The cheese shop in Pienza and the fantastic lunch and winery tour at De'Ricci. Nicola was an amazing historian and his respect for the origins of the De'Ricci cantina is inspiring. Hats off to our tour guide, Giulio and the van driver!

We loved our day trip to Tuscany. We had a great guide. Eileen shared great information about the region and its history. We spent the right amount in each location. We stayed in Pienza long enough to explore the town, take some amazing photos, pick up a few souvenirs, have an espresso in an adorable cafe, and attend a cheese tasting. Next, we went to a farm for a delicious homemade lunch. The family was very welcoming and shared lots of information about their farm and lifestyle. We enjoyed the scenic stop at the fort in Montalcino, we snapped some great photos. We also visited a winery and tasted brunello di Montalcino wines. We purchased a bottle of wine and olive oil to enjoy later. All in all, it was a wonderful day that we won’t forget! It was really nice to step away from the hustle and bustle of Rome for a day. We’re glad we took this tour!

The places we visited were very good but the transportation was horrible! The bus seats were tiny with little leg room and the driver refused to keep the air conditioning on. He rolled down his window while we were in a stuffy hot bus. He was asked repeatedly to put on the AC but refused. The guide - Paris - was no help at all. Her fake Italian accent when speaking English was annoying. She is from Massachusetts!
