This is a tour to hang out with locals, experience the local part of Istanbul and last but not least meet with a group of fun people!
-Enjoy the beautiful Istanbul view at a rooftop.
-Try more than 10 different Turkish food in a historic 130 years old LOCAL restaurant.
-Taste some local street food on the way to the restaurant.
-Make new friends!
We will meet at 19.00 in Sirkeci and I will show you some hidden spots in old Istanbul and we will have tea/coffee in a very nice rooftop with an amazing Istanbul view!!!
After having our drink, we will have our private transfer and we will get away from the touristic spot to a restaurant which is almost 130 years old!
You will have a chance to eat Turkish kebabs with vegetarian tapas. This is a restaurant for mainly locals. Dinner will be followed by dessert and we will do the closing with Turkish coffee :) You will have a chance to try more than 10 different Turkish food including soup, starter mezes, kebabs, deserts and soft drinks.

We went to places we would have never known about and tried some interesting foods we would have never come across otherwise.
The meetup point was easy to find, Berna our guide was awesome, knowledgeable and enthusiastic.
We walked a little at first to try a savory dish and a sweet before we went to a rooftop venue with amazing views for some Turkish coffee or tea . The final stop was a restaurant frequented by locals, where we tried different kebabs and some dishes you may not otherwise come across.
We thoroughly enjoyed the evening, the group of people, Berna our guide and the food

We showed up late after getting lost on the way, but our hosts were wonderfully patient, charming and understanding. Great food and a worthwhile experience!

Sule, our excellent guide looked after the group from before we met by setting up a WhatsApp group. She outlined the format for the evening.
We were brought to a couple of local sweet and savory tastings and Sule provided background to the foods.
Taxi service transported group to a rooftop restaurant to view city sights and drink tea and coffee.
The final part was dinner in an traditional family restaurant which was of high quality and enjoyed.
Finally, Sule looked after us up to end of night by ensuring we all got dropped off in convenient locations to our accommodation. Highly recommend this tour. Very good value

Stunning sunset views from the terrace followed by a delicious dinner. Great hosts! Understanding the details about the food certainly added an extra dimension to the experience.

This was a great tour, primarily because we had such a super tour guide Sule. She was warm, friendly and knowledgeable. The food was excellent and the locations we visited at each stage were really good.
The lamb in the restaurant was divine.
Unfortunately, the transport let the trip down, otherwise I would have given a 5 star review. Our minibus was very late so we walked between venues which made the tour longer than necessary and some were getting ‘hangry’.
We also met some lovely people and went for drinks afterwards.
Great value tour too!

Zeynep was an amazing guide on this tour! She wrote very clear instructions via WhatsApp prior to the tour, and was very friendly and knowledgeable about the food we were tasting. The restaurants she took us to were all fantastic and she was a very friendly and welcoming person. Definitely recommend!

Our guide was brillant! Informative, funny. Loved the food stops. He was also helpful ensuring the rest of our stay was spent wisely. We had to whatsapp when we are got back to our accommodation safely. I'm just so sorry I never meet him on my 1st day of arrival.
