Tulum and Coba were good. Good archilogical sites. However our gigue was not the best. He was translating in both English and Spanish at the same time. But often we would talk at length in Spanish and we were left wondering what is happening. We also think that the vegetarian food should be better. All vegetarian items were cold items and after arriving at 3.30 pm for lunch it was very disappointing to find insufficient food.

The pickup time was 8 AM as per trip advisor, tour operators show up 7.40 AM & left without pick up @ 7.42 AM, we tried to stop them by calling the # that we are coming down in lift, but no success, they left a note of NO SHOW with hotel reception. It was not a NO SHOW , they show up early. No one pick up the calls when you call them, don’t give them the business, AMIGO TOURS ARE THE BEST.

If you’re looking for a well-thought out guided tour, this option is for you.
Our tour guide, Mari, and driver, Jorge, were phenomenal. Mari is incredibly knowledgeable on the Mayan people & culture, and gave excellent guided tours through Tulúm & Cobá. Her English is incredible, so if you’re American and are concerned about being able to understand the guide, fret not. She provided insight about each site on the van prior to arriving at each site, then gave a great walking tour.
I highly recommend choosing this tour as it visits Cobá, most tours don’t go there, and the ruins at Cobá are much better preserved than Tulúm.
We were given ice cold bottled water and snacks throughout the day to keep us going. It was a long day, and we didn’t eat lunch until 3:30 or 4 PM. But regardless, this tour was incredible and I highly recommend!

I booked this tour with Sat Mexico tours via GetYourGuide. They sold the tour to another company without informing us. And they say “hotel pick up”. I even put the hotel in. But then they insisted they don’t have it and insisted we meet at a meeting point. Would not recommend!

This day trip was amazing from beginning to end!!!! Highly recommended 👌

I booked online after reading through many different option and pick this one with no regrets! Our tour guide was Susanna and our driver was Moses and both were amazing! I received a message that they were running behind but knowing our resort was a bit of a distance off the main road and a busy area they ended up getting through the line of cars fast and picked us up exactly on time.

Susanna was so welcoming and we choose to sit right at the front to soak it all in. We were with a group with only a couple other English speaking people and she is so talented at speaking Spanish and English simultaneously and she was so knowledgeable!

The day went so smooth. Lunch was later in the day so make sure to eat before you leave or expect to spend some money on snacks.... each ruin had places available to grab something to eat!

Tulum was beautiful It's more in the open so the sun was hot but the views are to die for. (You are able to bring in personal water bottle but not plastic disposal bottles!) Coba was more shaded in trees and we had the option to walk, ride bikes or go on what they can a limousine( you sit on the front of a 3 wheeler bike and man bikes you around.) It was so fun and we were able to to see alot because coba is very spread out. The limousine was an extra charge but well worth it, our whole group took that choice.

We then went through a Mayan community into the middle of the jungle for a late lunch, the community runs on solar power and car batteries and the food was delicious.

After lunch, we got to swim in cenote Chen Ha and Cenote Mariposa, both smaller but beautiful!

Before we left the Mayan community we got to take part in a Mayan ceremony with a shaman. It's not a long ceremony but was it ever powerful. I was balling my eyes out and released so much energy. (It was my mother death date and I'm not very spiritual but I felt her with me and I released some much need sadness that turned into peace, our group was staring at me probably assuming other thing but I had told Susanna the reason for my tears and she was so supportive!)

When we were heading back to our resort we did a bus switch with a couple people in another group so they could get everyone home in good time. It was smooth and well done!
Thank for the experience and will be requesting Susanna next time we come to Mexico!

Overall, one of the best day tours I've ever gone on!!!!

The actual full day tour is fine. I’m most upset with their website with false information. Note that admissions are not included. They charge you $25 usd per person, which is higher than if you buy the tickets yourself. Also, they would say it’s some kind of tax, and maintain that admission is indeed included. When challenged, they would say admission is not included for your particular purchase. They also have a variety of different versions of inclusion/exclusion. Overall it’s very confusing and misleading.

The Cenote for this tour is also tiny. Much worse than other places you can visit instead.

Lunch is late at 3:15pm. Food is simple but ok-ish.

Great full day trip! Yes, it is a full day. We were gone roughly 12 hours from pick-up until drop -off. Worth every minute. Small group of 8 of us, (unlike the xcaret busses of 50+ people), a semi-private tour. Tulum is interesting, but as you will read here and elsewhere, it is small and crowded. Still an important Mayan archeological site. Coba was next, fairly good sized site with plenty of walking, one of the oldest Mayan sites. Much of Coba is still covered by jungle, not very crowded at all and and the Mayan calendar Stella is fascinating and soon to head to Mexico City. Our guide Mario was great, his history lessons were really interesting and we learned a lot. On to the Cenotes, what a blast, swimming in both pools is a must. The water is cool but not cold and oh so clear. The provided lunch at the Cenote was very good, with plenty to eat. We had ample time at all locations and ready for a nap[ on the drive back to Cancun. All in all, a great day!

The view was amazing and the guide Christian was very informative! So humble and helpful! I might have missed some part of the Mayan ceremony but he made sure I was able to get my blessing. You can tell he loves what he does! 10/10 experience!

The pick up points weren’t thought through. We asked to be picked up at our hotel but they said we had to walk to a meeting point 15 mins away for 8.05am. We then drove straight past our hotel door and the next stop was 5 mins away but we waited until 9am for the guests to arrive so our early morning really wasn’t necessary. That said the Tulum ruins, Coba pyramid and the cenotes were fabulous. It was incredibly hot and you can’t take plastic bottles into Tulum so take a flask for water. After Tulum we were provided with a snack and bottled water. Lunch at the cenotes was lovely but later in the day about 3.30pm so make sure you have breakfast. Make sure you make the effort to go to the 2nd cave cenote as it was very beautiful. We were ideally placed at Puerto Aventuras to be one of the first stop offs at approx 7pm. It’s a long day but was really interesting. Our guide was lovely and attentive but his English could have been easier to understand.

It was very hot in Tulum when we went, we didn't really get to enjoy the ruins. Coba was way better because we had a bicycle guide who drove us to each ruin site. The cenotes at the myan village were beautiful, we also got to have a Myana smoke cleanse, it was very spiritual and amazing.
