Seasonal all inclusive experience. Only 6 weeks is the flowering time of hyacinths, daffodils and tulips! Book now to see endless rows of flowers that bloom only in March and April.
The small group experience feels like a private tour. We come at places where no tourbusses can come. Also we will visit a tulip bulb farmer where we can walk in the fields.
When the group is complete, we do a short introduction.
From Amsterdam we drive west to the bulb region. Through rural roads we see the flower fields left and right. We stop a few times to take beautiful pictures. On the way I tell stories about the tulip fields and how the farmers grow them. We are going to places where no tour busses can come!
Halfway we have a coffee stop with Dutch apple pie at a unique place.
From there we drive back through the tulip fields to Amsterdam. Water is available in the car. Coffee/apple pie is included.

Leander is a gracious and well organized host of this adventure. Well thought out and terrific access to the flower fields. Being able to visit a private farm was marvelous. Highly Recommend.

Don't miss this onell! Leander gave us the perfect day out of Amsterdam to visit the fields. He's super knowledgeable about the history and agriculture of tulips in the Netherlands and is very conscious of showing you how to be a responsible tourist.
Remember... you're going on farmers private property. Other perks - small group, great transportation, yummy snacks and well-planned. It was magical!!!

Leander was fabulous. Going on the early tour was brilliant. We avoided the crowds by being early, but also Leander arranged with private farmers so we didn’t have to go to the public garden areas. The weather was stunning and Leander created a wonderful environment for us to meet the other attendees. The car was clean and comfortable. And Leander had wonderful stories to tell and we learned a lot about the tulip business. We also love supporting a firefighter! Thanks Leander for a wonderful, lifelong memory!

You won’t be disappointed! Leander knows everything about the culture and history of tulips. All very interesting. More importantly he knows exactly where all the best tulip fields are.He’s very personable and speaks perfect English with a great sense of humor.Highly recommended!

Excellent small group tour. We got to see and take photos of quite a few tulip fields before going to the farm where we could wander around in their tulip fields and show gardens. We had enough time to wander around and take photos. Leander our guide was very friendly and knowledgeable and gave us a lot of information about tulips in general and the countryside.
Given that it is not easy to visit tulip fields I would recommend this tour.

Fantastic tour! Leander gave us a wonderful experience. We appreciated the tulip history and info he intertwined into the tour. Also, the apple pie was incredible.

What an incredible experience! I am so glad I booked this trip with Leander instead of trying to venture out to fields myself. I learned so much about the area, the farmers, and of course, the flowers! Leander brought us to several fields filled with different flowers and vibrant colors. He has befriended farmers of private fields so it's a really unique experience. It was the perfect amount of storytelling, knowledge sharing, time for photos, and time for exploring. Our group was small, which made it awesome for me being a solo traveler, and we all got awesome photos. I loved the pace of the tour; I never felt rushed. I also loved the cafe stop for coffee and dessert — it was a building near a private tulip farm that had such unique things like special gifts and even tulip cocktails. Leander really knows his stuff and is so passionate about the flowers and his country. Oh, did I mention he gave us all a little gift when we parted ways!? He really thought of everything. So so much fun! Highly recommend this experience.

This experience with Leander was even better than expected! Not only did we get exclusive looks at fields without other tourists, we learned so much about the tulip bulb farming process. I had a few questions prior to the experience and Leander responded promptly and was very helpful. I was so happy I booked this experience and I'd definitely recommend it!

An absolute treat in every way. The tulip fields are as gorgeous as you imagine they'll be - if not even more! And to be able to see them in a comfortable setting away from crowds, and with the knowledge Leander brings to the experience - this is a 10/10.

The tour guide, Leander, was excellent. He was very knowledgeable and friendly. He was an expert on tulips and growing. We received excellent care and a very unique tour, so much better than the other commercial tours. This private tour is the only option as far as we’re concerned. It was well worth our time and the cost! Thank you so much!
