I had heard so much about this experience and wasn’t disappointed. We were welcomed aboard the TSS Earnslaw with plenty of seating and enjoyed the journey and commentary. We were booked for the buffet lunch at Walter Peak which was more than delicious, plus a demonstration of sheep herding by the farm dogs and an entertaining sheep shearing demonstration. Back on the Earnslaw we had an opportunity to view the working of the engines and an informative room of memorabilia. Loved it all.

Our family enjoyed it! It would have been better though if we went there not on a rainy day!:) staff were so nice and helpful. The bbq buffet was good! We enjoyed the food. I had a mix up with my booking and Real NZ assisted me without ang fuss!! Would recommend this tour and this company !

Loved our trip on TSS Earnslaw to Walter Peak for lunch. Food was amazing and the setting stunning. The farm show sheep shearing and gathering was very informative. We picked a perfect day. Its a photographers paradise. The trip back including a pianist was entertaining. One of the passengers from Sydney even had a chance to play the piano and sing. A great day out.

So glad we did this activity in Queenstown. A scenic cruise on the Earnslaw was interesting in itself. To see the workings of the old steamship was great and the boat itself allowed plenty of sightseeing on the way. The farm house building and surrounding gardens close to the jetty were absolutely beautiful and the bbq lunch amazing. Everything was delicious, it was well organised and there was plenty of food. Drinks were reasonably priced. The sheep shearing demo was interesting and also well done.

Very well organised, fast accommodating the ships passengers to a well presented buffet bbq lunch.
We added the farm experience and that was a good display of a working sheep dog under commands.
Totally worth doing.
