There’s no better place to dive into authentic Italian dishes and drinks than Rome’s Trastevere neighborhood. From enoteca to osteria, you’ll get a true flavor of what makes Rome’s cuisine so unique and delicious. Start the evening like an Italian getting to know your local guide and small group of travelers (12 people max) over a glass of wine or prosecco paired with cured meats and cheeses from the region. After, pop by a family-run restaurant making the best supplì in town for over 40 years on your way to try Rome's beloved cocktail, the Aperol spritz, at an iconic neighborhood institution. Take a short walk to a cozy wine bar to sample three types of bruschette with a glass of red and white wine. Then, sit down at a typical trattoria for a family-style pasta dinner and more wine. No trip to Rome is complete without gelato! Enjoy a cup or cone before parting ways with your guide. You’ll end the tour with invaluable insight into how to eat like a local for the rest of your visit.

This was amazing, beyond my expectations. Mattia was interesting and knowledgeable, so fun to listen to. He wove interesting bits of history into food and wine in the most delightful way.

Went on a solo trip to Rome and came across this four. We had 4 small meals and it was wonderful the food very tasty with vegetarian friendly options. I just wished we had explored a bit more Trastevere perhaps and had tried more different things

My husband and I enjoyed a fantastic food and wine tour of Trastevere at sunset with Chiara on our second night in Rome. Chiara's personality, story-telling, historical knowledge and humor made the tour a delight. We loved strolling around this lovely neighborhood and being able to sample some of the best food and wine Rome has to offer. We learned all kinds of great tips for dining delightfully for the rest of our time in the city and ducked into some truly local establishments for a feel of the "real" Rome. At all the stops, the businesses were prepped and ready for us, and there was enough walking between stops not to feel like we were just stuffing ourselves non-stop. We loved the pace and experience overall. The quality of city food tours can vary drastically, and I found this experience with Devour to be one of my best in memory.

Such a fabulous experience with John Paul guiding us and helping us strangers bond like friends over delicious Roman food and drinks. All of the stops included some education and wonderful food. I couldn't believe we still had dinner and dessert at our last stop. Bravo, JP!

Our tour guide was brilliant. Got to taste the delicacies of Roman food and wine at some renowned eateries/restaurants as well as tour Trastavere where the locals go. Well worth the time and money. Just the right amount of stops finished off with some great gelato.
