The driver was a little strange and we felt some discomfort driving with him. He was restless and he did not say a word during the whole trip.
He said he had to stop to smoke a cigarette.
Not the usual cordial and educated driver

I thought we booked a private driver but we’re picked up by a motor coach. Diver was helpful, loaded our luggage and got us to the cruise port in a timely manner!

First the driver arrived late. But upon arrival we found out he was picking up more Guests, then dropped us off at another location to get a bus to the port. My understanding of what we had booked was private transport, meaning one driver, picking us up and taking us to the port. If I had known, this was a group transport, I would not have booked this service.

We received an email from our cruise line stating there was a train strike and needed to find different transportation. This was two days prior to boarding. I went online to Viator and booked a car to take us from London hotel to Dover port. Driver was very professional and car was clean. Of course this did cost a lot more than the train ride would have been, but it all worked out great.

We had paid for a transfer of 5 adults. The driver that arrived could only accommodate 2 adults. He did not speak English very well. So, he did call in and I spoke to the dispatcher. The dispatcher said they would get an uber. The problem was the uber could not accommodate 5 adults with luggage, so we had to split up our party and we and to put luggage in the back seat along with 2 adults. Not a very comfortable 2-hour ride. Because of the mishap we left an hour later then promised. You would think the dispatcher would have called for an uber to accommodate us all. We did not get what we paid for.

Called the night before to relay information about where to pick us up at our hotel. The driver went to the wrong place and I called to find out where he was to be informed he was at the wrong pick up. I let him know he needed to come to the taxi pick up location because he was parked illegally. He refused and told me to come out there. Two hotel bellmen brought our 6 bags around and also informed him he was in the wrong place. He argued with them. Enroute we had a jolt as he ran off the road and we immediately stopped at a test stop. Driver vacated the van with us locked inside. He had loaded the luggage after we boarded so we had to climb over the luggage to find the mechanism to open the door so we could use the facilities. Upon returning to the van the driver complained we had inadvertently caused his jacket to fall from the seat (we had to climb over) into to floor. Upon arrival at the cruise port he again parked in the wrong space. The van door opened up to oncoming traffic. He got in a shouting match with port authorities when they told him to move. He did not move and unloaded our luggage and us in the middle of oncoming vehicles. He was belligerent and unprofessional. Maybe he was having a bad day.

The driver was a very good and on time. The trip was uneventful which is good and he seemed very familiar with the route.

Great service getting us from London Heathrow airport to our hotel in Dover, England. Car was clean and neat and in great shape and Diego, our driver, did a great job!!
