I didn’t realize this is just an entrance ticket to the tower. This is not a separate tour. It was still a good visit

The Crown Jewels were stunning. The beefeater tour was fascinating, funny and fabulous. The feeling of history was exhilarating.

It's busy and some of the spaces were à bit crowded but the whole experience is well organised and documented. We hired the self tour sets and allowed us to move around as we wished. And we were informed. The visit to the Crown Jewels expo is really worth the entrance. Its sparkling ✨️ The Gurkhas and the Yeomen are a plus.

Quite a long tour, be ready for lots of steps, some steep spiral staircases some with only rope railings to assists. Older folks not many places to sit for a minute, a bit hard to navigate for people with mobility issues.
The place is amazing, and reaks of history, do a little reading before your visit. Plan on LINES of people. The crown jewels are amazing but again plan on lines of folks, we went i. The ‘iff season and thought it busy. The canteen was ok but nothing outstanding- the gift shop across the street- well expensive some a bit tacky. The Anne Bolin claspless neckless??

The tour group was way too large for my liking, the Yeoman did speak loud but could not always hear him. Good grasp of the history though, I eventually just did a self tour.

The Crown Jewel exhibit was probably the best part of the tower of London. The guided tours are very short and even more graphic.

The tower was a fun experience. However, we arrived for our timed visit and anyone who wanted a beefeater tour was told to wait in mote area. I assumed as about 100 people gathered that we would be split into groups with different beefeaters. However we were not. We couldn’t hear anything they said and it was one beefeater for 100 people. We broke off and paid for the headset and did our own tour. Still very interesting but not what we expected. I would recommend going as we enjoyed our time. But know that if it is busy you will not get the recommended beefeater experience.

We were awed by the Tower of London’s remarkable history. Each stone tells a story, each view is breathtaking. It’s a journey back in time, a must-see for every couple!

The tour was interesting, the visit of the crown jewels is a bit overrated, but there is a lot more to see at the tower so all in all a fine experience
