Good to know the wine making process from past to present. The guide demonstrated a lot of knowledge about wines and history, both of the winery itself and of Chile.

The entire tour was sensational, and Beatriz was great at explaining the past and present of the entire vineyard. I will return more times and highly recommend.

We love the vineyard, the wines, and above all the guide who was a delightful person, kind, loving, knowledgeable about history and wines, patient and helpful, Isabel Peñaloza. We went with my mother for Mother's Day and the guide made this day even more special, being part of this beautiful day and tour 💕, with her joy and knowledge. Grateful for this vineyard that shows not only the quality of its wines but also the quality of its people. We will be back.

The visit itself complies with what was mentioned in the Tour description.
In our case, we were a group of 11 people to do the Tour. When we arrived there were already about 12 more people, and 6 joined during the tour. That's really a lot of people for one guide. Added to that was that there were other tours going on simultaneously and we had to wait for one to finish before moving forward.
Separate topic for the Jazmín guide. Not recommended for this type of experiences.
At the end of the tour, he told us that he had a secret to tell us: that they added pork fat to the wines to give them shine. We were totally surprised and quite disgusted by the way. We had 3 vegetarian people who almost fainted on us right there.
I have been to many vineyards. I've never heard anything like that. A very uncomfortable moment. Nobody knew what to answer. He told us that it was an open secret in the vineyard, and that is why there were wines that said "vegan" on their label, which was not the case with Cousiño Macul. He also clarified that they were not organic wines. Very strange indeed.
Added to that was that the guide treated us as if we were teenagers on a walk. He made jokes. He told about his life in the South, that he had returned 2 weeks ago after living there for a while. That he realized that he preferred more economic stability and a fixed salary, and that is why he had returned to work in the vineyard. It was all very strange, because no one really cared about his life, and it wasn't part of the tour. The truth is not very serious.
I had gone before to do the bike tour and it had been a good plan. But this time we went in a group, the experience was not good. And the pig thing left me a little disconcerted. I don't know if I dare recommend it.

The place is very nice, it is also close and easy to access. We loved the underground cellar! Likewise, we highlight the attention of the staff, since we arrived (security guards) and, especially, of the guide Melissa, who explained to us with great enthusiasm, knowledge and friendliness the history of the Cousiño family and the wine development process. Recommended!!!

For those who love stories, this place has it in spades, very rich in tradition, and always maintaining the place with its original characteristics from years ago, making us go back in time and imagine the first wine productions.
The service was good from the beginning, the tasting was very rich, with excellent wines. I recommend!!

The bike tour is very good, very entertaining but the bike ride was very short for me, then it continues with the tasting and a walk through the vineyard. The entire tour takes approximately 2 hours, the guide was very friendly. The vineyard is very beautiful.
