Hello!
We had a wonderful day with Joao(John). It was a discovery. His historical knowledge is worthy of a professional. The day went by very quickly. We learned a lot and Joao was very available for our questions, or just to take pictures of us. We discovered a beautiful part of Portugal. By the way, our lunch was great, and we received a very warm welcome.
If we go back to Portugal, we'll ask Joao again to show us another part of the country.
I recommend this tour for everyone.

Our tour with João today was phenomenal. We saw the most incredible places and he was so knowledgeable and showed us the tiniest of details and made sure we were comfortable on the tour. He also took us to a wonderful restaurant in Tomar. This tour is one not to be missed as you will not see these wonders anywhere else in Europe.

I had an outstanding day going on this tour of the knights Templar. It was great to explore outside of Lisbon as well. Very different and unique castles and churches are seen pertaining to the Templars. A highlight of my trip to Portugal. The guide was excellent and I highly recommend this tour!

John provided a very interesting and informative tour of Tomar and it's incredible sites. Very knowledgeable on all aspects of its history. It was wonderful having a private tour being picked up and dropped off at our hotel. His enthusiasm on the history of the Templars was wonderful and we learned so much! Thanks for a great day!

This is a fascinating tour for those with interest in the Knights Templar. João knew Portuguese history and facts — both significant and trivial — better than any other guide I have had in Portugal. (All were good, João is superb.) He was attentive to questions and that provided for lively discussions. By the end of the day, I felt that I had made a new friend and when I return to Portugal, he will be one of the first people I call. Wonderful tour and guide. Don’t miss either!
