laura was a great tour guide, we really enjoyed our tour. The only thing i would note is to look for a white flag not an enjoy rome flag at the arch/ meeting point.

Great experience! We were able to spend sufficient time at all the places scheduled for the tour and did not feel rushed. Tour guide was great at explaining history. She was very patient and made sure no one was left several times.

To say that we were dissatisfied with our tour is being too nice. It was horrible! We arrived 30 minutes before the check in time and were assigned to a tour guide whose name was something like Noonie, but like everything else she said, we couldn’t understand her. She spoke decent English although she added random vowels to many words which made her hard to understand. We wouldn’t have complained about that but for the fact that she talked so fast it would have been impossible to understand her in any language! We asked her politely to slow down as did other members of the group and she agreed to “try” but said that was just the way she talks and she hears that a lot! It didn’t get better despite several requests by several people. But if that was the only thing that went wrong with this tour we would have let it go. Let me list the many other problems that this awful tour guide and Enjoy Rome caused:
1) At 10:15, while waiting for the tour to begin, we asked another member of the Enjoy Rome team where my husband could use the restroom. He was told that upon entering the Colosseum there would be an opportunity for folks to use the toilet and, in fact, we saw the other guides doing this with their tours but our guide hurried us through this area because another member of the group had to use an elevator for a baby stroller. We assumed there would be another opportunity. There wasn’t. He asked her to use the toilet several times and she kept telling him he had to wait until we got to the forum. Then the same people with the stroller wandered away during a “10 minute break “ and no he still wasn’t allowed to use the toilet. The people never returned. The guide called the company and was told she had to go to another part of the Colosseum to find them and bring them back. Now we were all standing around for 30-40 minutes including the “break” and she never found them. My poor husband was in agony at this point and finally decided he had no other option except to find a bathroom on his own. We agreed that I would meet him outside at the end of the colosseum part of the tour. He was so disappointed that he would miss the colosseum floor portion which was the only reason we had booked this particular tour.
When the guide finally returned without the missing members I explained what had happened and that I would meet him outside after the tour. She was confused by why I hadn’t gone with him but I explained that I wanted to experience the rest of the tour. She asked how to get his headset back and I explained for the 3rd time that he wanted to rejoin the group outside to see the forum and palatine hill.
2) now she was in a big hurry to make up the time she had lost and began rushing even more. She led us onto an area where we had a great view and I stopped for maybe 15 seconds to take a picture. When I looked up she was gone! No flag, no guide, no group! I ran all around the area looking for her, the group, or her flag. There were thousands of people around and she was nowhere to be found. I received a phone call from her office asking whether I was looking for my husband! I was not looking for him! I was lost and the person on the phone couldn’t understand what I was saying and couldn’t help me find her. I hung up in frustration and left the colosseum in tears. I found my husband outside talking to the woman who gives out the headsets. We returned our headsets and saw the forum and palatine hill on our own, but, of course, had no guide to tell us the history or even what we were looking at. And we completely missed the tour of the colosseum floor…the only reason that we booked this tour over others that were rated more highly!
This was absolutely the worst tour and tour guide that I have ever experienced! We requested a refund from Enjoy Rome and got crickets in response! The same request from Viator was denied. I highly recommend that you book another tour whose company stands behind its promises. What a disaster,

Guided tour which is not at all up to the level of the places visited, both in form (very approximate French) and in substance (no content). Absolutely avoid. We do not understand the positive reviews that can be read on the site.

Fabrecio was an amazing tour guide. He was more than knowledgeable and funny. His stories were captivating. I learned a few more things about the Colosseum and the surroundings. My daughter and I truly loved this tour and guide. Spend a few more dollars and skip the lines.
