The view is amazing. Top view. The organization of access was a bit confusing for us. We arrived 15 minutes later than we had booked, which was apparently due to groups that had booked additionally. The staff upstairs are a bit fussy. I was not allowed to take photos with a tripod, even though I was scanned at the security checkpoint downstairs. The reason given was Law of Company.... 🤣

We really enjoyed our experience, all the staff where friendly and helpful. We hadn’t booked and just walked past while walking towards St Patrick’s Cathedral. Within ten minutes of booking we were looking out over New York wondering why we hadn’t come sooner. Added on the Beam experience which was great although the queue for that took some time as the cameras on on ride failed. All in all a brilliant couple of hours at the Top Of The Rock, the weather was great which helped at the top as the wind chill is quite a shock. Only downside to some maybe the price but it’s New York if your cheap don’t bother with the city.

Having done some of the other decks and even having done this one years earlier, this experience is the best one I've done!

There's a lot to do considering it's an observation deck and the new (new to me - wasn't there when I last visited) cafe at the top was really nice and such reasonable prices for a tourist attraction!

If you are seeing NYC for the first time, this is a must-do.

It's worth taking it off. We took 5 activities. Top of the Rock. The Edge. Night cruise. Empire. One Word Observatory. I put the order that we liked the most.
Without a doubt the one I liked the most. I didn't miss it.
It is difficult to choose viewpoints. But this is phenomenal.

It was a good choice to see the city and the Empire State Building. It looks amazing at night. There are 3 levels to visit and all are good for perfect photos.

The entrance was very well organized. The view is very beautiful. We had booked "The Beam Experience" (+25$/person)... it was a little highlight, but it's not something you absolutely have to book.

Mixed thoughts, by the time we got to do the Rockefeller Center we had already done One World Trade Center, Empire State Building, and Summit One Vanderbilt - so we had already seen the views, done the looking down on glass platforms - so this just wasnt wow. The view was just another version of all the other views we had already seen.

We opted for the express pass, as we wanted to be able to re-arrange our visit in case of bad weather. This was a good move in a way, as the weather was poor on the day we originally booked, and by pushing it back a day, we had amazing weather. However, the express pass, with the flexibility to rebook, was not cheap, and I did not feel the experience was worth the price. The main reason we did it is my wife was really keen to do the beam experience and get the photo - which was kind of cool - but I could easily have lived without it.

Nice experience, but overpriced.
