1. Muralla de Toledo
Toledo has had a wall from the Romans, which had to be rebuilt by the Visigoth King Wamba in 674. The current wall is of Arab origin where we can find some Roman remains. King Alfonso VI, is granted the completion of the works of the wall in 1085, after reconquering the city. Toledo has always had a great wall, well known throughout its history, taking center stage its entrance and exit doors, such as the Puerta de Bisagra, the Puerta de Alfonso VI or the Puerta del Cambrón.
2. Plaza De Zocodover
The Plaza de Zocodover is a square of the city of Toledo. It was the nerve center of the city during most of its history, acting as its main square. A part of it was designed by Juan de Herrera in times of the reign of Felipe II
3. Alcazar de Toledo
The Alcázar of Toledo is a stone fortification located in the highest part of Toledo, Spain. Once used as a Roman palace in the 3rd century, it was restored under Charles I and his son Felipe II of Spain in the 1540s.
4. Catedral Primada
The Primate Cathedral of Saint Mary of Toledo is a Roman Catholic church in Toledo, Spain. It is the seat of the Metropolitan Archdiocese of Toledo
5. Synagogue of Saint Mary the White
The Synagogue of Santa María la Blanca is a museum and former synagogue in Toledo, Spain. Erected in 1180, according to an inscription on a beam, it is disputably considered the oldest synagogue building in Europe still standing. It is now owned and preserved by the Catholic Church
6. Iglesia de Santo Tome
The Iglesia de Santo Tomé is a church located in the historical center of the city of Toledo, and was founded after the reconquest of this city by King Alfonso VI of León. It appears quoted in the 12th century, as constructed on the site of an old mosque of the 11th century

A tour that combines English and Spanish with a guide who speaks with a heavy Spanish accent, half of the tour you’re listening to a language you don’t know, and when she did speak English, we understood very little. On the bus, the sounds of the engine and heater cycling on and off prevented us from hearing her soft spoken voice.

Sadly, this was the worst Viator tour we’ve taken, and I’m so disappointed we wasted our time in Toledo.

Cathedral was amazing. Tour guide was difficult to understand and gave few details. Limited time to shop around. Schedule was as indicated.

Arantxa was a fabulous guide - so warm, friendly, entertaining and knowledgeable.

Great trip, comfy ride in a nice air conditioned bus. Our guide made sure everyone was taken care of the entire time (restroom breaks, lunch, coffee breaks, etc). Our guide stressed our time of departure to ensure no one was responsible for holding up the entire group.

Toledo is amazing and absolutely worth a day trip. Fair warning: lots of walking and crowds but don't let that scare you off.

Super friendly tour guide. Made the experience fun and enjoyable! Lots of things to see, plenty of rest room stops and good hour and a half for a bite to eat at lunch time.

The Toledo, Spain tour was in both English and Spanish languages. The tour guide had a very thick Spanish accent, moved back and forth between the languages very quickly, and spoke fast, so we were unable to understaff most of her English, thus most of the info being conveyed. We left Toledo not sure what we saw or learned.

In the bus on the way to Toledo, the tour guide spoke softly over the PA system and as the bus heater cycled on and off continuously, we could not hear her much of the time.

The tour guide was cheerful and dynamic, but we got very little out of this tour and felt very disappointed. First time a Viator tour disappointed me so much.

The tour was excellent and our tour guide Arrantxa was equally excellent. She gave us quite a bit of historical info about Toledo, El Grecco, etc., she was quite friendly & upbeat and everyone seemed to be very happy. There was a fair amount of walking with some inclines but that was to be expected and we all, young and old, handled it quite well.
