The great painter El Greco lived in Toledo in the sixteenth century.
2. Toledo

6. Casco Historico de Toledo
The tour also includes free time for you to explore the rest of the city on your own, where you can return to places we have already visited. If you would prefer to just sit back and enjoy a beer or eat on a nice terrace you will also have time to do so, and your guide will recommend some good local or tourist places. Have free time by your air, to discover it streets, shops and taste typical tapas and drinks. Also you can enjoy other monuments with the bracelet provided by our guide.
7. Plaza De San Miguel
Meeting point in Toledo and return to Madrid. At the end of your tour of Toledo (the experience lasts around 8 hours), you will return to the center of Madrid in a comfortable minibus, where your guide will be able to recommend things to do during the rest of your stay.

The city is beautiful and the tour guide is nice and professional, but the arrangement is under my expectations. We booked this tour with an obvious higher price for the “bus transport from hotel”. But we were told the bus from Madrid to Toledo was cancelled because regulatory reasons, so we have to take train instead. We accepted it, however we did not know that means we have to keep walking the whole day from hotel to Madrid station, then from Toledo station to old town city , then walk back after one day trip!!! If you are expecting a reIax or luxury trip as the description, you will definitely be disappointed.

I cannot say enough about our guide, Natalia. She was very knowledgeable and so lovely in every way. Toledo was breathtaking. When our daughter became ill unexpectedly, Natalia was a calming force and acted on our behalf to communicate with the ambulance dispatch, medical personnel, and the taxi driver who drove the rest of the family to the hospital. As we do not speak much Spanish, she thoughtfully handled every detail, providing additional information so those attending our daughter would be as informed as possible. Without Natalia, we would've felt helpless. She even reached out over the following days to check on our daughter. I will be forever grateful. *Also, Valerio from World Experience took his own time to deliver the one purchase we had left behind that day: a beautiful damascene plate. Each time I look at it, I think of Toledo, and especially of the incredible kindness and genuine care we were so fortunate to experience there. My heartfelt thanks to Natalia and Valerio.

We had the best time at Toledo, visiting all the places and getting to know the history behind Christian, Jewish and Muslim quarters there were insightful. Our guide German was funny and driver Pedro was very friendly. We also had plenty of free time to explore on our own. Overall highly recommend this tour!

Javier was amazing! The trip to Toledo was so easy and so much fun. Javier did a great job explaining the history of the buildings and the city. We highly recommend the full day tour to really see and enjoy Toledo. The tour itself isn’t too tiring and exhausting - you get two breaks to explore, shop or rest on your own!
