Kamal was very knowledgeable and personable. Really efficient. Was able to get us to all the place on the list in our limited time. Sensoji Temple and Meji Shrine were our favorites.

We had the best experience with Mattia our tour guide. He went above and beyond to cover all attractions and customise as we wanted. He gave us lot of information about the sites and in general Japanese culture and society. Our trip went little beyond the hours limit but he accommodated without any issues. We have always had good experiences with Viator!

We have never been to Japan before. Even with research ahead of time, exploring Tokyo on our own seemed overwhelming. This tour divides East Tokyo and West Tokyo with several sights on every "to-do" list. Our guide, Mattia, was amazing from the start. Pleasant, sociable and informative providing information on every location plus his own behind-the-scenes take on things. He kept the day running smooth and stress-free. We ended our day wanting to do more and hearing Mattia explain the ways of Japan. Could not have been a better first day in Tokyo.

Highly recommend this private tour of Tokyo! We booked this in advance of our trip to Tokyo. Our driver, Mattia, was so communicative and reached out to us well before before our tour to work out our itinerary. Having this level of service before reaching our destination gave us confidence in the tour company and peace of mind. Mattia picked us up from our hotel on time and gave my party of 5 the most incredible day long experience! We were able to see so many amazing sights without ever feeling rushed. My party included senior adults with limited mobility. Mattia made sure to bring the van as close as possible to each sight to ensure my party's accessibility and comfort. He was so knowledgeable, friendly and accommodating (even adding an unplanned sight to our day's itinerary, upon request). His driving was extremely smooth, and he even offered snacks and refreshments in his van. We had the best day ever, thanks to him. By the end of the day, we felt like longtime friends.

Inquired on 06-Nov for Tokyo and Mt Fuji Tour for Dec 10 and 11. Got confirmation for english speaking driver and tour guide. Paid online on 09-Nov. Coordinated itinerary with Oriol via whatsapp. Requested for a Vellfire as we had 3 big suitcase and a pram. Car was very spacious and clean. First day of tour 10-Dec and we were picked up at Tokyo Disneyland, had to request for a change of timing to 10AM to let our daughter sleep in and Oriol acknowledge. As it was a vacation we did not want any stress and was a free and easy tour. Oriol had provided a detailed and fun tour as we had learned a lot with Japan's history. Went to Sensoji temple, Akihabara where the autumn colors of the Ginko tree's are majestic. Went to Teamlabs as well. Had no communication issue and Oriol engaged with our 5Y keeping her entertained. Second day was an early 8AM drive and pickup from our Hotel at Tokyo to go to the Yeti Ski Resort. Oriol was a very safe driver and drive out to Mt Fuji second station was relaxing with autumn colors still showing. Had good choice of family restaurants thanks to him and our child enjoyed. After Mt Fuji we did the Pirate cruise at Lake Ashi. We decided to get a 1-way trip and Oriol had picked us at at the next stop. Had a drive by the Tokyo night ligths before heading back to the hotel. All in all we had a very relaxed and wonderful tour of Tokyo and not thinking about which train to take or what bus to take, having us dictate the time to slowly enjoy Tokyo is a must thus creating memories with our little one. Thank you to Tokyo Grand Tours and Oriol. Much appreciated and will definitely recommend to friends and family.

Incredible and so worth it! Our driver Rich is THE BEST! Ask for him! He was funny, very knowledgeable and we so enjoyed his company. We were able to see so many things in one day! Highly recommended

If you’re looking to maximise a short stay in Tokyo without compromising your experience I’d absolutely recommend Tokyo Grand Tours. Mattia our (Italian) driver was exceptionally accommodating in creating a bespoke itinerary covering all the places we wanted to visit. Upfront communication was excellent as was organisation on the day. Mattia’s insights after 13 years living in Japan were exceptionally interesting and left us with a more well rounded view of the country and society. The mobility problems of one of our group were well catered for without compromising the experience for everyone else (even to the point of retrieving a walking stick ‘out of hours’ after it was inadvertently left at the Tokyo tower). Thank you TGT and Mattia for a truly memorable day.

Kamal was our guide/driver for the day. He was prompt-actually he'd been waiting for us for at the hotel prior to our departure time. Although we had our list of pre-agreed upon spots, he recommended a couple more that we might like, time dependent. He was fun, interesting, and genuinely cared about how our time was accounted for. They were several great spots along the tour and some fun history to go along with this. Being Moroccan, but having lived in Japan for over 20 years, we felt like we got two tours in one. Overall, a great day; a great experience of the city of Tokyo. Hope you end up with this gentleman!
