Pros: You get to see all the places on the itinerary list. If you're efficient in Chinese-mandarin.
Cons: Meeting point information unclear. No direct contact phone number. Very limited English per tour guide. Very limited time at the outlet.
Tips: Avoid weekends cuz traffic jams will cut down your time at sites. 1 hour at the outlet is barely enough time to use the rest room and get an ice cream. Forget shopping as the place is hugh! Pack your own lunch if you're ordering noodles.

I really enjoyed the whole tour, wish it was a little longer. My only gripe is that clouds were obscuring Mt Fuji the whole time. Really enjoyed walking around Oshino Hakkai and then taking advantage of holiday discounts at Gotemba Premium Outlets.

Japan is simply the best place I have been…it was a very memorable experience. The Japanese people were so friendly. I will return.

Felt a bit of short change with this tour. Didn’t manage to get to 5th station due to road close, which is fine by me but the alternative place is a little underwhelming. No explanation of the place nor anything. Just bring us there and go explore yourselves. And the shopping time was too short.

Overcast skies during our tour and was not able to see Mt Fuji. Gotemba outlet was OK but very short time for shopping. Visit Date : Dec 13, 2019. Good Tour Guide Ms. Nami.

We had a semi private tour booked, ended up we were the only family on the trip, so it was entirely private trip, which was wonderful. The tour guide/driver was excellent, knew exactly where and what to show us. Very fortunate to see clear view of Mt Fuji, even the driver drove us to a nearby site to take a beautiful scenery of Mt Fuji with clear reflection on the lake, just like a postcard picture. Highly recommended for this trip.

The trip was amazing, our hostess was polite, fun and always engaging with us throughout the journey. She made the bus journeys to each area shorter by filling us in with little snippets of local knowledge.
Mount Fuji itself was cloud covered (as always and that can be helped) but Stage 5 is still a beautiful place.
If i ever return i will once again be using Viator for these kinds of tours

Overall, the trip was enjoyable because of the beautiful ponds and activities. What they didn't tell us was that it is virtually impossible to see the majestic mountain during this time of the year when it is rainy most of the time. We went June, which is the start of the summer and rainy season for Japan. I didn't imagine that we will not be able to even glimpse a bit of the mountain. I am not exaggerating. We were at what they call the 5th stop before climbing the mountain itself and the mountain was totally covered with clouds and fog.
Other than that, the guides and activities were very good. But what is a Mt Fuji trip without Mt Fuji?
