Our exclusive and personalised service ensures that you can enjoy the tour without being exposed to the expected crowds of tourists in the buses and without taking pictures through the windows, as it is common in big buses. After leaving the port, we will drive through the southernmost city in the world and the only one in Argentina that is located between the mountains and the sea. We will learn about its history and culture, stopping at scenic spots to take the best photos. Then we drive into the national park where we visit lakes, lagoons, streams and rivers and have enough time to have a snack in a cafeteria in the middle of the forest. Finally, we return to the port on time.

Gaston was fantastic! He did a great job describing the history of Ushuaia and the National Park. Unfortunately, it was very dusty in several locations due to gravel roads and lots of traffic. But we would still recommend it. Just plan accordingly.

Our guide, Gaston is an excellent guide. We had several short hikes in the park and he walked with us and explained the variety of plants and wildlife. The tour was long enough to include a tour of the city with stops and also the park.

This day trip gives the brief experience of Tierra del Fuego that a port stop with a cruise ship allows. The day was just as described. Small bus and knowledgeable guide. The commentary was interesting without going on too much. Better value than an excursion through the cruise line.
The guide was waiting as we left the jetty and within minutes the bus was setting off for the airport and a view over the town. At the end of the day there was another photo opportunity stop above the town, which gave views across Ushuaia to the Beadle Channel.
The rest of the day was spent in Tierra del Fuego National Park (Parque Nacional Tierra del Fuego). There were 3 short walks during the day, each on easy to follow, but uneven paths, with little elevation. There were plenty of stunning views, flora and fauna. False mistletoe and lichen in the beech trees, birds of prey, foxes, lakes and mountains a plenty. There were stops as advertised. At the visitor centre drinks and snacks are available, before a walk alongside the lake. Next walk was to Bahia Lapataia via an elevated viewing platform and ending at the southernmost point of the Panamericana with the famous sign indicating the distance to the other end of the road in Alaska. Continue to walk; k along the elevated wooden pathway for a closer view of the Beagle Channel. There is scenic drive between walks, the last of which is at Bahia Ensenada near the most southerly post office of the world.
This trip does not involve a train ride and the train was only viewed in the distance.
By the nature of this trip, there is a cruise ship in port, so expect the associated crowds. There was a long queue to enter the national park, but the crowds were only a major negative distraction at the post office stop, where there were queues for the "Fin del Mundo" stamp and the toilets. The latter were not a pleasant experience.
Drop off was a choice of either in the town of Ushuaia or back at the cruise pier.

Excellent guide with great English! It was so nice to travel in a 14 person van rather than a 42 passenger bus! We loved that the timing allowed us to see the train when it arrived with cruise passengers. The hikes around the lakes were stunning. We easily found our guides outside the port terminal and were able to begin the tour promptly. Great tour we would recommend to any cruise ship passengers!

Loved this tour! Ushuaia is a fun little city, and the national park is just stunning. The tour was great about stopping for lots of photo ops but not taking too long in any one spot, and the short hike through the park along the lake was really fantastic. Highly recommend!

The trip was good, I especially enjoyed the visit to the “end of the world. The guide was very difficult to understand as the van was noisy on dirt roads and he didn’t use a microphone. Plus the weather did not cooperate for the city tour.

What a great way to see the city of Ushuaia and visit Tierra del Fuego! Our tour guide took us around the city and great photo spots ! While we were in the park, he lead us to a short hike around the lake. The weather was just perfect! Of course we visited the post office and mail off some post cards! For a small fee, the postmaster will stamp your passport. If you want to save some money, get your postcard in town and write it out before you get there. Just buy the postage from him.
