Tour was great from the start. Nicholas met four of us at our boat and took us to Tierra del Fuego National Park. In the park we stopped several times for short hikes, with Nicholas giving explanations on what we were seeing. He was very knowledgeable and gracious! We enjoyed picnic on the lake with mana tea and yummy local treats. We would highly recommend this tour!

Nicolas is an exceptional tour guide. He is extremely knowledgeable about the local history, wildlife and flora/fauna. He did a great job of customizing the tour to meet my interests. I highly recommend this tour.

I am travelling in Argentina with my sister, who I haven't seen for 3 years due to COVID. We are visiitng Ushuaia in April and came to Ushuaia for the very first time in our lives. As we planned to go to the Tierra del Fuego National Park, I started searching some tours on tripadvisor and this Private Tour by Alma Calma Expediciones came to my attention, as I thought it would be good to have a private guide to lead the way and provide an exclusive experience.
We decided to go on Wednesday and I contacted our guide the day before to pick us up from our hotel at 8:30AM. As we came downstairs the next day morning, he was already waiting for us at the lobby and we left 8:30AM sharp. On the way to the park, our guide made a few stops along the route to explain the terrains and the glacier.
The guide is very thoughtful throughout the trip and he wanted to make sure that we wanted the experience exactly as we wanted it to be! The first stop was the Tren del fin del mundo, we learned a lot about the origin of the station, the prisoners' role in the establishment of Ushuaia, etc. The guide asked us whether we'd like to take the train, which we opted out in the end (I can't say too much about the train as I am not so much of a train lover) as we wanted to spend more time in the park and do more trekking and sightseeing. Before we start each trekking route, the guide would make sure that we are okay with the difficulty etc.
The park itself is very beatiful and the view goes without saying, but the tour guidance and stories from the guide reallly made it different, the atmosphere was very relaxing and we were just amazed by how knowledgeful the guide is. We had a lot of engaging conversations about Ushuaia's history, geography, culture, biological ecosystem, fauna, the entire trip felt like as easy-going as it could be and at the same time we really leanred a lot. And can I say, the coffee break by Lake Roca was so good! He provided lots of kinds of snacks and coffee/tea, which all of them were delicious!
Overall, I would strongly recommend anyone who wants to have an in-depth experience in Tierra del Fuego National Park, and I would definitely go with Alma Calma Expediciones again the next time I am in Ushuaia, if there is a next time!

This was a private tour with Emanuel as our guide. Emanuel was very knowledgeable. He gave us a lot of information about Ushuaia and Tierra del Fuego National Park. His English was very good as he had lived in the USA for a few years. After a walk in the National Park, we had coffee and Argentinian pastries.
This tour was set up through Nicolas Wolaniuk, the tour operator. Nicolas always responded promptly to any of my inquiries. I can highly recommend this tour operator.

Nicholas picked our group up from the cruise terminal and we embarked on a 7 hour tour of Ushuaia and Tierra del Fuego National Park. Nicholas is a native of Ushuaia who provided us with the history of Ushuaia, explained the topography, trees and animals in the region. He took us to several beautiful places in the park as well as the Train to the end of the world, the southernmost post office and the end of the Pan American Highway. We had a fantastic day and ended it with a cup of Mata and some delicious pastry. Highly recommend Nicholas.

I will leave this review anywhere that I can! My family and I visited Ushuaia in February 2023 and arrived by Cruise Ship. We did the private tour of Tierra del Fuego National Park with Alma Calma Expediciones. Our guide was the very best we could've hoped for. He arranged to pick us up at the cruise port and then took us to the national park. His knowledge of the area and the history of Ushuaia was amazing and insightful. We learned so much about the area. He was very kind and funny. The places he took us were beautiful and one of a kind. The hiking spots we did were also amazing. The terrain in some spots is unlike anything I've ever experienced. On top of everything he was very accommodating. From taking us to places we wanted to see (like the post office and train station). We traveled with 2 small children and he was accommodating with them as well like extra bathroom breaks and getting them involved by asking for their help with making the tea when we stopped for a picnic. It really made them happy. We had such a great day thanks to our guide. I would recommend this tour and company to anyone and everyone.

My wife and I and two friends had an excellent tour of Tierra del Fuego National Park and Ushuaia with Alma Calma Expediciones. Our guide was thoroughly knowledgeable in the history, geology and natural history of the area and we learned far more than we would have on one of the large bus tours. He also offered great service, helping us transfer our luggage between hotels in Ushuaia and providing a lunch of coffee, tea and pastries.
We had several opportunities to walk/hike in the park away from the crowds. If you have time in Ushuaia, the National Park is a must see and a tour such as this is by far the best way to see it.

We had a fantastic private tour with Martin of the national park. He took us to all of the fantastic sites to see in photograph. The park was truly magnificent. The company set the tour up and we had a wonderful time. They met us on time at the pier. I would highly recommend them and our tour guide.
