Walking tour inside the Fortress City of Avila + LUNCH or FREE TIME It is sometimes called the Town of Stones and Saints, and it claims that it is one of the towns with the highest number of Romanesque and Gothic churches per capita in Spain. It has complete and prominent medieval town walls, built in the Romanesque style. Then we will make a stop to have lunch in a local restaurant in the old town, where we will enjoy a typical “Iberian Traditional Meal” ( if upgrade selected )

The Alcázar of Segovia (literally, "Segovia Fortress") is a medieval alcázar, a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Rising out on a rocky crag above the confluence of two rivers near the Guadarrama mountains, it is one of the most distinctive castle-palaces in Spain by virtue of its shape – like the bow of a ship. The Alcázar was originally built as a fortress but has served as a royal palace, a state prison, a Royal Artillery College and a military academy since then. It is currently used as a museum and a military archives building.

This was a great tour however I wish we would’ve been able to visit more of the cathedrals or museums while we were at each of the places. Our guide was very sweet however at times it was difficult to understand him.

German and his co worker moved about easily in crowded spaces. They told us what to expect, where bathrooms were etc.
the tours were great and informative. We were able to keep pace and the subjects were many! Highly recommend this tour. Charles the driver was amazing and I was comfortable driving on his bus. He was amazing.
