Many of Munich's buildings carry the secrets of a dark past. Just six decades ago, Munich bore the official title, Hauptstadt der Bewegung, the Capital of the Nazi Movement. This was the city that the Allied Supreme Commander General Eisenhower called 'the cradle of the Nazi beast'. Find out why on this fascinating walking tour.

Really worthwhile way to spend a morning. A fascinating way to learn about a dark part of history. We know Munich well but saw parts that we weren't familiar with as well as numerous monuments and memorials we didn't know were there.
Jake was incredibly engaging, very knowledgeable and friendly and managed to get important points across with humour. Fabulous tour guide.
Very highly recommended.

Ended my trip in Munich by visiting the Third Reich walking tour, and it was the best decision I could make! Sam was a terrific guide (and very witty) who was very well versed with the city and the history. A must do if you have 2 hours to spare in this beautiful city.
Highly recommend!!

We had no idea how significant Munich was to the rise of Hitler. We learned so much and the tour was fascinating. Our guide Jake was great. Highly recommend. No bathroom or food breaks so plan accordingly. We would have missed so much had we not taken the tour.

Josh’s tour was interesting and informative. We learned details that we never realized and he also myth-busted so many assumptions we’d had about this point in history. I also appreciated how Josh made the history feel very human with the examples he used. We’re grateful got this learning.

The guide was excellent. He was knowledgeable, friendly, a good communicator. The tour lasted an hour longer than advertised. I think because Ulrich, the guide, enjoys his job.
