We had such a lovely tour of Pompeii with Noemi. She kept our girls 11, 13 & 13 engaged—answering and asking questions the entire time. She has such a passion for, not just showing people Pompeii, but letting them experience it. Pompeii itself is incredible! It’s sad, but just mind-blowing that things from so long ago are so well preserved for us to see. I highly, highly recommend this tour! Worth every penny of your money and every moment of your time. Noemi went above and beyond for our family—helping us navigate a bus back to the train station, and then places to eat in Naples, and she did is with such joy—she loves her community and helping tourists to appreciate all that her city has to offer.

Vitalija was a great guide! We went to Pompeii and Herculaneum with our family of six adults and one toddler, which is not easy, but Vitalija was warm and accommodating to our need for flexibility. She tailored the tour to our interests, which we really appreciated. Her English-language skills are fantastic. I would recommend this tour and Vitalija to anyone who wants to have a personalized experience, rather than following a big crowd tour.

We were fortunate enough to have Dario as our local guide for our tour in Pompei and Herculaneum. Dario was very proactive in giving us advice on how to travel from Rome to meet him for our day tour starting in Naples. He also arranged a car to pick us up from Naples and we travelled between destinations in the same car which was very handy.
Dario was very knowledgeable and gave us very detailed descriptions on points of interest - without him we wouldn’t have had a clue what we were looking at. He was also very patient and managed to keep my 2 teenage children engaged throughout the tour too. My husband was unable to join the tour that day but in the future if we come back again to do this tour with my husband, I will definitely get Dario as our guide again.

Serena gave us a great tour of the Archeological Museum. We covered so much of the museum in 2 hours that we went back to see more of it ourselves, we found that we had already covered nearly everything that we had wanted to see! Serena has a wealth of knowledge about the artifacts in the museum, Pompeii, and Napoli. In the entire two hours that she spent with us, she must have been sharing something with us the entire time. This was a great way to see the Archeological Museum and not miss a thing. Also, her English is excellent. Thank you, Serena!

Dario was a wonderful guide for our family of six. He was able to engage all ages from 9 to teenagers and the parents too. We had scheduled a very challenging day to see Pompeii and Herculaneum together but Dario made it fun and interesting. He has great stories of how the towns worked and how the people lived in ancient times. His specialty was in making the relics relate to modern life for the children, so they could understand more easily. He was professional and efficient taking us to wonderful examples of each type of ruin so we could experience as much as possible. We wish Dario the best and can honestly say it was worth every penny to have him help us through our day. Thank you Dario!!

We did a treasure hunt in Pompeii with Noemi and my 11 year old loved it. She keeps saying what a lovely person Noemi is as she truly is.
The treasure hunt in Pompeii takes 3 hours and I was worried it might be too long but actually with all those interesting stories and lots to see we’d easily listen to Noemi for another hour. Time really flies.
I would recommend Noemi and the treasure hunt tour to any family with younger children. Even the adults have lots of fun!
Noemi is just great!

Noemi was, in a word, perfection.
She went above and beyond, helping coordinate a taxi for our large and complicated group, requesting different drop offs at different times. She even met us in Napoli Centrale to assist with our transfer!
Noemi was absolutely wonderful with the children in our group, helping them appreciate the site in a way that was really appreciated by us all. For the rest of us, she added additional explanation and was always able to answer our questions. So it wasn’t just a tour for kids.
For families traveling with children, Noemi is the absolute best. Grazie Mille, we are so glad to have seen Pompeii with you!

Dario made our ambitious combined trip to Pompeii and Herculaneum feasible, enlightening, amazing, and fun. He knew exactly what to focus on and how to get around the crowds to accomplish the highlights efficiently, all the while engaging us with vivid descriptions of life in ancient times. In addition to the sheer volume of knowledge Dario shared, without him our day seeing these amazing treasures would have been tainted with frustration, exhaustion, and discomfort. Now, we remember only the beauty and wonder.

Dario was an exceptional guide on multiple levels. He knows Italian history including not only Pompeii and Herculaneum but Naples’ rich cultural significance and contributions to the greater world. He was professional, punctual, responsive and accommodating about our interests and concerns. Beyond his expert guiding at Pompeii and Heraculaneum he also took us on a short but fantastic tour of the Naples subway- an unexpected delight. He arranged and expert driver and one evening got us a table at an incredible authentic Naples pizza restaurant. We devoured pizza while locals ( including a huge gaggle of pre-teens) watched soccer on the big screen. Dario gave us more than a tour- he gave us a big slice of Naples.
