Correale Museum of Terranova, Sorrento - Inspired by the “Three Tenors” concerts by Luciano Pavarotti, Placido Domingo and José Carreras, Opera e Lirica presents famous Italian opera arias from Tosca, La Traviata and L’Elisir d’amore and the most beautiful Neapolitan songs, like “O’sole mio” and “Torna a Surriento”.

we loved everything about this experience! The room in the Museum was a perfect venue for this classical concert. the musicians and the tenors especially were wonderful , peppering the performance with moments of enjoyable levity! we will do this again !

If you want to have an introduction to opera with going to see the opera, this is the perfect way.

Fabulous night and not something we would normally choose to see, but being in Italy it seemed very apt. Set in a small room of the museum, which made it a very personal experience. A little bit of humour thrown in by the three tenors made it a great night, and we thoroughly enjoyed it.

This was really a great experience and well worth it! If booking through trip advisor, you need to go about 20-30 min before the start to collect the tickets. There is a nice garden area to walk through. We had a glass of prosecco 5€ each (only cash, you should try to have exact) and would have been nice to look more in the gardens. The museum is also quite amazing inside, we didn't do the tour but looked like lots to see.
The 3 tenors themselves were brilliant. There was a bit of comedy aspect and small audience participation with clapping. Was a bit annoying occasionally with people who are filming, luckily it wasn't too often. Would highly recommend.

My hubby and I booked this as part of our silver wedding anniversary treat to Sorrento (no kids, yippee!)
I spotted it as a recommendation on a Facebook group. Very good value for money (for Sorrento) especially the ‘back row’ seats which we chose. The decision was based on other reviews and I concur….
There are only 100 seats in an intimate room in a museum with amazing acoustics.
Three unbelievable tenors with a piano, cello and violin.
You will know 80% of the songs and it doesn’t matter for the ones you don’t know as they are all captivating.
Among the serious, hair-raising, tear-inducing numbers there is a smattering of tasteful humour and audience participation. All done in 90 mins.
Hubby said it was the absolute highlight of his holiday…that is praise indeed from a generally non-opera person.
Book this, it’s ace!

I was looking to see if there was anything on in the evening in Sorrento for our holiday , & found The Three Tenors , happened to be just around corner from Grand Hotel De La Ville where we were staying ...
I booked a VIP ticket ,which includes a free visit to museum where the Tenors are performing , we were in 3rd row with a great view ..
The evening was amazing ! fantastic voices , with some humour , made an excellent evening ! Choice of songs just the right mix !
We were lucky that no one took photos or videos while they were singing as l have seen in other reviews , it spoilt the evening
They do a photo session after show in the beautiful gardens ..
One tip though ..get there early if you want a glass of processco as you are not allowed inside with it !
Enjoy the glorious music !

Stunning performance from the 3 musicians and 3 artists but the event organisers seriously need to get a grip from the beginning and just announce; ‘No photos or videos’. The atmosphere is shattered by selfish, mostly women, videoing the event. I didn’t spend £42 to watch it through the back of someones phone held up in front of me. People were told repeatedly by other audience members to put them away which just caused more bad feeling.
Such a great pity!

Wonderful evening listening to some fabulous voices accompanied by piano, violin and cello. They also encouraged audience participation and we sang along with them to some of the well known Italian arias. A wee glass of Prosecco before entry was a lovely touch but extra cost ( 5 euros) Opportunity to meet the artists after the performance in the garden with photo opportunities too. Overall a most enjoyable evening and well worth a visit. One not to be missed when visiting beautiful Sorrento x
