The Tiles (azulejo in Portuguese) is one of the strongest cultural expressions in Portugal.
With this tour we'll check, mostly outdoors, tiles artworks from the XVI till the XXI century.
It's a special opportunity to meet Lisbon in a totally different perspective.
I'll tell you unique stories and we'll visit unexpected places. The itinerary is about tiles but never dissociated of the history and the stories.
To end the tour we will have the opportunity to taste a codfish cake.

Miguel was extremely enthusiastic and knowledgeable. He gave us a comprehensive view - not only of the tiles but the city and its history. A dense 3 1/2 hours!

This trip was great! Miguel was a fantastic tour guide and knew his information. He kept checking in to see how we felt about walking and showed us his passion for Lisboa. I would highly recommend this tour for anyone who wants a guided tour from someone who knows his stuff. Will definitely be recommending to friends!

Miguel was a fabulous tour guide! We especially wanted to see the tiles of Lisbon, and his tour was exactly what we were looking for. Miguel also gave us a great deal of Portuguese history as we walked through the city. We saw and better understood the history of the tiles from the 16th up to the 20th century. We also stopped mid-way on our tour for a cod cake and Super Bock (or you could choose a n/a option). This is a great tour to take in the beginning of your trip as it helps you get more familiar with the historical area of the city. I highly recommend taking this tour with Miguel!

Educational and fun, this tour was fantastic. Miguel was very informed and took us around the city finding tile. It was a great introduction to the tiles of Portugal.

Really excellent tour if you love tiles. Miguel was sensational and offered a good overview of Lisbon and its history along with the evolution of tiles. It has helped me understand what I’m looking at as I travel through this city.
Miguel was knowledgeable and considerate and offered many suggestions of places to eat and things to do. I wish I could take more of his tours
