A once in a lifetime chance to visit three countries in just one day! Grab your passport and join us on this unforgettable day. Leaving Barcelona we head for a tiny medieval village close to the border before crossing into France to visit a beautiful French spa town where you will enjoy lunch. In the afternoon, you'll head into Andorra over a high mountain pass, perfect for dramatic pictures. You will also stop in a picturesque valley on our way to the capital, famous for tax free bargains, before heading back into Spain in the afternoon. Breakfast in Spain, lunch in France, and an afternoon snack in Andorra - a day you'll never forget.

WHAT'S INCLUDED

WHAT TO EXPECT

1. Palace of Catalan Music
7.00am - Your day starts when you arrive in our office, which is right across from the famous Palau de la Musica. Your guide will there to greet you and tell you all about the day ahead.
2. Baga
8.30am - Where else but in Europe can you visit three countries in one day? Three different countries, three distinctly different atmospheres, stunning drives, and breathtaking scenery. Depart from Barcelona at 7am, and relax during the scenic journey to Bagà. You will have the chance to marvel at the majestic rocky peaks in the Cadi-Moixeró National Park as we drive to Bagà. In Bagà, as this sleepy village comes to life, you can get a fresh pastry or sandwich in the local bakery, or a coffee in one of the many typical cafes, before rejoining your guide who will give you a short walking tour of the village before leaving you free time to explore alone. From Bagà, we will head deeper into the countryside as we drive towards the French border.
3. Thermes d'Ax
11.00am - Your next stop is the charming and beautiful ancient spa town of Ax-Les-Thermes. Your guide will recommend some of the best natural fountains to visit, and those best suitable for soaking your feet in. You will then have free time to enjoy the healing waters, browse the local artisan shops where you can buy local cheeses and cured meats, as well as looking out for a souvenir to remember your visit. After a while of wandering around this typical French village, its time to choose from one of the many local restaurant for a tradition French lunch. After a memorable French experience, you will meet back at the bus to head towards Andorra.
4. Pas de la Casa
1.30pm - The route takes you through the beautiful Pyrenees Alps to Andorra. One the way we will cross the Pas de la Casa, an amazing high mountain pass with some stunning photo opportunities.
5. Valle de Incles
2.30pm - As we descend into Andorra, we will stop at a typical mountain valley where you will get a glimpse of how Andorra used to be. From here, we will head down the valleys into Andorra La Vella.
6. Andorra la Vella
3.30pm - Andorra la Vella is the capital of the small but stunning country of Andorra, located high in the east Pyrenees, between France and Spain. This will be our last stop of the day, but you will have enough time to do a little bit of duty free shopping, grab a quick bargain or walk around its old stone streets and houses. At about 3:45pm, we will return to the bus and head back to Barcelona via a different route. This drive takes you through dramatic gorges, past verdant farming land, and alongside lakes and rivers, before the landscape levels out and the lush tones of green of the fields and the shinning grey of the mountain rocks are replaced by the dusty orange and brown hues of this arid landscape. You will stop enroute for a chance to stretch your legs and quench your thirst, before arriving back in town at about 7:30pm
7. Ponts
4.30-6.30pm - This drive takes you through dramatic gorges, past verdant farming land, and alongside lakes and rivers, before the landscape levels out and the lush tones of green of the fields and the shinning grey of the mountain rocks are replaced by the dusty orange and brown hues of this arid landscape. You will stop enroute for a chance to stretch your legs and quench your thirst, before arriving back in town at about 7:30pm
8. Montserrat
6.45pm - The final leg of the journey takes you past the dramatic scenery of Montserrat. This iconic mountain stands out dramatically against the skyline as we begin out last part of the drive into Barcelona.
9. Plaza de Catalunya
7.30 - 745pm - We end the day in Plaça Catalunya. From here, you can easily take the metro or a taxi back to your hotel. Otherwise, your guide will be more than happy to make some recommendations of where to have dinner.

This trip will give you a good flavor for the countries and help you decide if you want to invest in a longer tour.
The day was rushed, exactly as advertised, yet excellent at the same time. And yes I want to go back!

Sergio was the best tour guide. He was always attentive and seemed to know, before we even asked, that we needed something or had a question. He was extremely thorough and thoughtful and appeared to be relaxed and comfortable with everyone. Would definitely do another tour with him. Also, Pedro was an excellent driver. It snowed on our trip but i always felt that Pedro was in total control.

The trip was great. David was fun, informative, and made the trip. Aliex was a great driver making all the twists and turns up the mountain. The scenery was beautiful. Great way to celebrate our anniversary.

The tour guide David and driver, Aleix, were fantastic on this tour. David was very kind and engaging, he had a passion for history and sharing his music with others. Aleix did a great job driving a bus on some very windy streets.

It’s a great experience to see Baga and Ax-les-Thermes as they are towns that I wouldn’t have seen myself.

I went on a Monday and most of the restaurants/shops at Ax-les-Thermes were closed. It was very interesting to see the medieval town of Baga.

Andorra was really fascinating to see with the climate and focus on shopping.

There is lots of sitting on the bus but makes sense for the distance traveled in one day. It’s a low intensity walk day but with the different stops, you don’t feel too stiff from sitting.

This time of year, I’m really glad I brought a jacket, as it was chilly in certain spots - around 3-10 degrees Celsius.

This tour is great if you want to see three countries in one day. My recommendation would be to shorten Ax-les-Thermes if most of the restaurants are closed as Andorra has more food options and more streets to wander around.

The trip would not be the same without Alexis behind the wheel and David with his hilarious, yet insightful commentary. The entire trip was full of great story telling, thoughtful and strategic pit stops, and alas… so many mesmerizing views. Totally recommend it for couples and family members alike.

Would give this more stars if I could. Make sure to ask as many questions as you can! David likes an interactive group 😉.

Thank you David and Alex, for this amazing trip. David is really a funny guy and gave us important information about Barcelona, Bàga, Ax les thermes and Andorra. He really kept us interested. Alex, it's really a good drive and a friendly guy. It was a really long drive, but the time ran out smoothly. I would just recommend wifi on the bus. 🙌🏻
