This romantic and out of the ordinary trip of around 2.30 hours offers an opportunity to hear the history of the districts of the "Parisians Paris" as you cruise along the calm waters of this canal, lined with hundred year old trees and spanned by elegant footbridges.
You will slide under the mysterious and spectacular vault of the Bastille, where the light is there magic.
This cruise, which will take you through four double locks with swirling waters and two swing bridges, will allow you to experience the "atmosphere" of the Hotel du Nord created by Marcel Carné, Arletty and Louis Jouvet and share the pleasure of the walkers strolling along the banks lined with pretty boutiques and charming retro style cafés.
Before arriving at the Parc de la Villette (City of Sciences, The Géode, City of Music and themed gardens) you will cross the Bassin de la Villette, formerly a trading port now redeveloped to form the setting for the Rotonde de la Villette.

It was a unique experience. A way to not only look into the past, but to see other parts of the city, new to us. A good afternoon!

This was a real drag that's all I can say. Not much to see spent a lot of time in the locks while water raised the boat. The crew and guide were awesome and professional. I was confused at the end if excursion was over. I guess you can get of and ride Metro back or ride the boat back. I got off. Maybe just me but was very bored. For reference I'm a retired senior.

Great canal tour! It was one of the best things that we did in Paris.
We learned a great deal about the canal and the neighborhoods around the canal.

A very different tour in Paris, which is worth visiting.
It's 2:30 am strolling along the canal, discovering the history of the place narrated by Lea, who explains it perfectly well. We passed 4 bridges, swing bridges and several bridges, including the one where AMÉLIE Poulain filmed. On the boat there is a bar, where we enjoyed a Chardonnay to the sound of classic songs by Edith Piaffe, Charles Aznavour and others. Canauxrama is the name of Cruzeiro. Enjoy and enjoy!!! At the end of the tour, you take the subway near the exit.

Fun and unique experience of cruising the locks on a side of Paris most tourists don't see. Old Paris and old bridges, some swing out and around.

The trip was ok, but many passengers stand at the front of the boat blocking the views for everyone else during the whole trip. Also there should be some shade in the exterior as in summer it's unbearable in the sun for 2 hours.

The itinerary was varied and the passage through the locks was interesting. I couldn't understand the guide's French and English very well. It would have been more enjoyable if there had been a pamphlet in Japanese.
