The guides are very friendly. We took the photo package, 100% recommended, since you cannot take photos while driving. We went to a river and I regret not having brought a swimsuit. In the end we entered the Volcano reserve and climbed up to some lava flows, we were super close to the Volcano. I took the drone, in Outback they helped me with a linga to carry it in the rack. Super recommended.

We had the most amazing experience with the whole family on the ATV’s. The guides gave great instructions and we all felt safe. It was the kind of adventure we needed!! A highlight of our time in Costa Rica

first of all they forgot to tell us that we need a driving Licence for the tour. When we claimed they told us we should claim where we booked the tour. The guy who picked us up was in a really bad mood. On the tour we drove with 16 people in a line with a maximum speed of 10 they brought us to a tent where they showed us souvenirs. We were surprised because we wanted to drive the quads! We asked if they could drive a little faster (and they said no we are driving to badly which wasn’t true anyway because with sich an amount of people it wasn’t possible) and if we don’t feel comfortable we can go back to the basis camp. Incredible how they treat their customers with a voice I never learned before on all my trips! At least they finished the tour and brought us back with many discussions all the time blaming us!!!! although 16 people witnessed that they finished the tour not we. But if they do so I suppose they have not to pay back our money. At least 2500 Euro for quad and rafting. They destroyed a day, the fun and filled it with discussion and anger. Hopefully get your guide will help for a refund.

Having never been ATVing before, I appreciated the thorough safety demo and that they confirm upfront that this is not an adrenaline tour. It’s more of a leisurely drive through the jungle. Great for families or those more nervous driving solo, but that being said we had an enjoyable morning exploring La Fortuna on our two solo quads. The group size could benefit from being smaller. Like many tours, there is a stop to sell some wares in the middle, but it’s quick and the native tribe is interesting to hear from. Bring a swimsuit for a quick dip in the river!

We rented an ATV for a month, went on several tours, used Outback for simple transportation, and got general assistance in Samara. Genevieve and the "boys" never failed to provide great service and services with a smile. Highly recommended.

Organized with OUTBACK at Samara - we met at 8am in the morning at Carillo Beach where we went out to sea on a small boat to look for the dolphins. After a little while, with the captain's connections with other tour boats, we circled in on a small pod of dolphins who swam all around us and was chasing out boat ! Wonderful !
Genevieve at OUTBACK gave very good advice about the tour. Thank you!

100% recommended! We saw a few dolphins and also whales!! The captain made an extra effort for us to see the whales as they where in a different spot and not where we saw the dolphins. The snorkeling at the end was very close to the cost and there was not much to see. Bring some extra clothes with you in your backpack because you could finish the tour soaking wet!
