The guide was very good and was able to work well with different personality types (we had one guest on our tour who wanted to let everyone know how knowledgeable he was) Guide gave of lots of fun facts. I think it’s a tour that you should read the book first

Tony our tour guide was fantastic! So knowledgeable. I would maybe bill this as more of a history tour with The Devil in the White City elements included. Still, I would definitely do this again. Also there was a little more walking involved than we were lead to believe. Not a problem for us but useful to know if you have mobility limitations. Also our particular bus did not have a washroom and there was no stop for same. I would definitely recommend this tour.

I felt the tour and tour guide deserve 5 stars (3 hours), but i felt a little shorted about the actual HH Holmes information. I loved going into areas I've never visited! If you love Chicago history, this is a great tour, if you want to learn a lot about HH Holmes, you might feel you want more.

This was an awesome tour - learned so much - it held my interest from beginning to end plus I got to see parts of Chicago I would have never seen otherwise. Extremely knowledgeable host. It would be great if the post office basement could somehow be made a part of the tour - eventually. If at all possible.
Because of the information I learned on the tour, I was able to do some research on the area of town I just moved to a few months ago and found that it was part of the "stockyards" as well as "skid row"...lovely.
