We liked that it was a small group and snorkeling with the turtles was amazing! Our guide Alex was good and he took his time with everyone.
We didn’t really like the small boat and it wasn’t easy to get to our stuff on the boat. There was no need for towels as we were wet the whole time.
The snacks (ceviche and guacamole and fruit) were very good! The beer was cold!
Getting off the boat at the end of the tour was rough and we were thrown around trying to find our belongings and exit the boat.

We arranged a 4 hr excursion at 930am, which should return at 1:30pm/1330. I confirmed with mike who met us at the flagpole and our snorkel tour guide to ensure we returned on time to meet our cruise ship’s 230pm/1430 departure time and was assured, no problem, we would be back by 130pm.

At the end of the tour we noticed it was already 1:00pm and we had a long return boat ride, we became worried about missing our cruise, and found out no one told the boat driver, and the tour guide hadn’t done anything to ensure our return on time. They raced back quickly and we arrived on our ship at 2:27pm with 3 minutes to spare. It was an unnecessarily stressful end to what should’ve been an amazing experience. This was still a great tour and could’ve been rated 5 stars if not for the added stress.

Well... it was a boat. Just not a boat big enough to handle the ocean, the snorkeling and the amount of people on it. The Captain was asleep on the bow of the boat when it picked us up from the Secrets dock. Then, after a 6 foot drop down into the boat, we were told to store our stuff in the netting above and then forced to wear only our swim suits and life vests... Why the forced life vests? Because the boat was so over weight and small, with no bathroom, fyi; and going so fast, it was dangerously hitting the current so hard it felt like the boat was going to break into two pieces. Then, we get to the snorkel spots. No ladder was let down, we were forced to climb over the ledge of the rocking boat and jump into the rough ocean off the side of the boat which was not anchored. Each location was okay, if we would have had time to actually snorkel at ot, I never saw a sea turtle because we were forced to move so quickly my snorkel mask flew off and was washed away by the ocean.

After which we went to the sandbar, and I had a bottle of water given to me by the crew. Ever since I drank that water I have had nonstop stomach issues. My husband did not drink the water, he only had beer and he is fine. So, my advice is this. If you're looking for a snorkel tour that goes insanely fast and is semi dangerous with the possibility of bacterial water poisoning, this is the tour for you. If you're looking for a professional crew and a nice bathroom, and non tainted water I'd probably look elsewhere. I will say, they did try to find my mask for me, but they barely spoke English which was also an issue. I understand it's Mexico, but we requested a English speaking tour.

Fantastic, spur of the moment decision! My cruise excursion was canceled and I went out on my own and found this exceptional opportunity! Went solo and had an absolute blast! Photographer was exceptional! HIGHLY recommend this if you’re looking for intense, adrenaline filled fun!

Our guide was Abraham and captain was Juan. Hopefully I spelt that right.

This was worth every penny.
We saw turtles, stingrays, cat shark and many other smaller fishes and giant starfish.
The stingrays were very friendly and would often swim by you as Abraham fed them with market dead fish. This was by far my favourite part. Abraham would also dive down to point to the animals.
They also made fresh delicious guacamole and ceviche. I don't love ceviche so I cannot comment on the flavor for that.
There were plenty of drinks - alcoholic and non-alcoholic choices.
I brought my own life jacket because I'm not a strong swimmer but they had waist life jackets for the adults. I didn't feel unsafe at all - you have to be comfortable with being in the ocean though. However we had some children with us and they just held onto the red life preserver and Abraham dragged them along. I think it's a good idea to get the guide to explain the snorkel apparatus to you as well beforehand - I had snorkeled before but forgot which part I needed to bite down on. Overall I had an amazing time.
10/10 would recommend.

Really fun tour, went to a few spots and saw turtles, starfish, sting rays and plenty of fish! Definitely recommend bringing rash gear as suggested because we weren’t able to use sunscreen and would’ve ended up quite burnt without the rash gear.
