The tour guide never showed up and never reached out to let us know they were not coming. It cost us $30 to get a taxi to the meeting point and they never bothered to communicate with us that they weren't coming until Viator and myslef reached out to them once they were 20 minutes late. They claimed they sent we sent a message saying they couldnt make it but neither Viator nor myslef ever received any such message. Save yourself the hasssle book a different tour.

We had this tour on the first day of our trip to Rome and are very happy with it: Claudia not only showed us 10 wonderful street food tastes that we can now visit again and again. She also pointed out typical tourist traps and gave us a very good first impression of the important spots in the city center. Claudia is a very good guide: warm, great at explaining and so knowledgeable about food that the time just flew by. Thank you very much for this unforgettable tour. PS: if you absolutely want ice cream to be part of the tour just let Claudia know in advance- she has another very delicious sweet finale in her tour with which we enjoyed very much:-)

We were a group of 4 and arranged a private food tour during our trip to Rome.
We had great communication prior to the visit with our chosen guide Francesca. A prompt arrival at our agreed rendezvous point.
Great food choices and experienced dishes we probably wouldn’t have chosen off a menu ourselves.
Francesca was very knowledgable of the food scene and also pointed out some of the sights when we asked what buildings were etc.
The only real critique of the day was the order of the food we sampled, we jumped between savoury and sweet, which was a little strange and perhaps would have been better if progressed as you’d eat.
The 4 of us had a fun day and would recommend a food tour to those foodies looking for a good experience while on their trip.

Matteo was our foodie tour guide and he was wonderful. He was there to meet us at the start location. We strolled through bustling and beautiful trastevere to sample pizza, cheeses, baked goodies, espresso and finished with gelato. A marvelous, informative and delicious time had by all.

Paola was wonderful! She took us to amazing places to try a wide variety of foods. She shared fascinating information about Roman culture and family life. I also told her it was one of my friend’s birthday and she arranged for a delicious cake with a candle and Prosecco. It was a special memory. Thank you, Paola!

Massimo was a fantastic tour guide! From the information he provided to the places we visited and the food we tasted it was an absolutely perfect experience! Massimo is a pleasant, knowledgeable and extremely considerate guide. The experience was much more than we expected! We would highly recommend this experience with Massimo to everyone young or old!

Paola was great. We did the 10 course tasting and were very full. The foods we ate were things I would not have known to order. It’s a lot of walking an eating on the go, but that was ok for us. We saw a couple different neighborhoods and visited a beautiful church as well.
