Gūlce was great. We booked her twice on our first day, the first time for a highlights tour to let us get our bearings. It was fab - definitely recommend that too- see our review (10❤️)….
Brilliantly, Gülce stitched this tour directly onto the “Highlights and Hidden Gems tour” so that we didn’t go away and then come back 3 hours later!
Tour was really important for us to do, by giving us a great intro into the local food, good places to visit and the range of food available….
We especially liked the baklava shop she showed us, well enough to revisit later to great enjoyment.
The range of food was wide and the quality of the highest level. Precious food tours have seen us get samples only, several of the dishes were full dishes - so don’t eat beforehand!!!
100% recommend…..

Ibra was a great guide! We walked around the area, going to many shops and restaurants trying different cheeses, dips, meats, vegetables, desserts ... I lost track of what they all were. We even went into a honey shop (SO many different honeys!) where we could taste them. It was a super experience.

We had a fabulous walking tour of the traditional and exceptional food of Istanbul. Starting with food from a traditional modern breakfast through street food and delicacies to a fabulous lunch in a local small resturant everything was thoughtfully selected and explained. Hearing a little about the life of a resident of Istanbul was also incredibly insightful as well. I would encourage anyone to take the tour.

What a wonderful experience to discover Istanbul together with Emre! Not only did he make us taste yummy food, he also showed us hidden gems in the city while telling us about his beloved Istanbul. And he provided us lots of information about other places to visit during our stay or where to eat. It was a great pleasure for us and we highly recommend to book a tour with him!

Had a fun time wandering around various neighborhoods with our guide Deniz. She’s very sweet, and attentive. She made some adjustments for us to try less common Turkish foods and to highlight some terrific seafood options. She was considerate of one of our party’s not eating beef so she worked around that and definitely accommodated our request to try more unusual dishes.
We went to three very cool neighborhoods (Karakoy, Taksim, Beysikas) and made 5 stops. Be prepared to walk a lot…

The food was amazing and we ate at a variety of establishments. Make sure you do not eat before the tour. We stopped at least six places and were able to have a combination of sit down and take out foods.

We loved our tour! Muhammad did a great job. Not only did he give us information on the favorite foods of Istanbul he was able to share his knowledge of the city and some of the buildings in the neighborhood of the tour. He was knowledgeable and easy to spend time with. Thank you!

We were lucky enough to get Emre as our guide and had the most fantastic time! We experienced amazing Turkish food off the beaten path, sprinkled with insightful bits of history along the way, and most importantly Emre’s warm, relaxed and friendly personality. The tour is so well put together, the time just flies and we didn’t want it to end! Could not recommend this tour enough. We don’t usually like organised tours, but we were keen to experience the best food Istanbul has to offer. Emre was also very helpful in recommending great places to eat during our stay, which did not disappoint!!

Wow! Gülce was our fabulous guide for a food tour in Istanbul. She skilfully guided us through busy and quiet areas trying a wonderful mix of local and authentic food. Gũlce was very knowledgeable not only about food but she also included fascinating stories about the areas we were moving through. Highly recommend Gülce as a guide!!

Emre took me and my husband on a private 10-tastings food tour of Istanbul. Not only did he take us to very local places (including a place where Anthony Bourdain visited), he gave us an incredible overview about Istanbul and its history delivered in a very enthusiastic, exuberant way. Emre is passionate about Istanbul, it’s food scene and history. He is incredibly personable, warm, informative and smart. His dedication shows in everything he does. He took photographs of us, and at the end on the last stop, planned out an itinerary of things to do for our last day. He sent me restaurants and places to visit via What’s App complete with location links. He even recommended his favorite restaurant In Istanbul overlooking the water. We made a reservation there and had an incredible dinner there the night after our food tour. Emre really seems to care that his clients have a great experience in Istanbul. He even texted me the last night of our stay (day after the food tour) to make sure we had a chance to visit the places he recommended and to see how our day had gone. I couldn’t recommend him more! If you have a chance to take this tour with Emre, you won’t be disappointed!
