Teng Ching Meng was a fantastic tour guide, he was so accommodating and a pleasure to talk to. He made sure we were comfortable the whole way whilst providing a great set of meals across Singapore he really gave us a lot of information about the city and answered anything we asked. We did a food tour with HJ. It really was superb. HJ is very passionate about food and his knowledge of the different types of food that grace Singapore is very extensive. We walked through the Arab quarter, Little India and Chinatown. Along the way he told us so much about the history of the various neighbourhoods we were going through. The food and drinks we had was quite substantial so make sure you go on an empty stomach. Excellent value. We loved the tour, as regular Singapore visitors we learnt so much that can only be gained from a local.

I did the private food tour and as I was travelling solo, I was the only one on the tour. I was very happy with my tour guide Arthur who spent more time than needed and was very informative with Singapore history, customs etc in each area. I sampled plenty of different food, couldn't eat too much of any one thing but I did enjoy everything that was on offer. We did some walking, some taxi riding and some train riding which I enjoyed as I hadn't then tried going anywhere on the train. I will now have more confidence to go back to the areas where I went on the tour so I would highly recommend this tour.

Ngoh Tee Bok is one of the best tour guides i have ever had, correction, the BEST i had. I travel +60 days a year, +80 visited countries, +100 tours and Ngoh is just amazing, patient, well versed in the culture, the cusine and an unkeen willingness to serve and make your touring experience the best ever. Humble and kind and most of all an amazing human being.
We had taken the subway from chinatown to little India, everything run smoothly, but then from little india to Arsb street all of my cards stoped working, I approached the subway service booth and the wouldn’t take my money either… when i turned around there is Ngoh with his own card…

Really enjoyed this tour of the local side to Singapore food , interesting range of food sampled and Marcus gave us heaps of information about Singapore culture and history. Be prepared to walk/train between stops and eat plenty!

Our guide Marcus was very knowledgeable and helpful, and even managed to accommodate our dietary requirements and plan tastings around that. The food itself was amazing, and we saw many parts of Singapore that we would not have thought to visit without Marcus!
