This was a great experience. The host was informative and kind. We really enjoyed it and strongly recommend other go do they can understand the ritual and symbolism of the tea ceremony. You also get to enjoy so delicious tea, too.

The building was horrific
We ended up at the door of a brothel. We were not the only ones a few others had the same experience
The host of the tea service was excellent

Mai was amazing and knowledgeable and the ceremony was a perfect peaceful respite from the busy Dotonburi city. I would do it again if I had the time, it was so therapeutic!

A not-to-be-missed experience - the hosts are incredibly nice and welcoming. The sweets and tea were both amazing and we have learnt a lot. We were encouraged to ask questions and even received some recommendations for Osaka. 100% recommend!

I couldn't recommend this more! The ceremony was beautiful and host was informative. The host was also very kind. He asked each of us what our birthdays were as he was explaining the candy designs. When I said that my birthday was that day, he got very excited and went to get the ceremonial tea bowl for me. It was the icing on the cake of a wonderful experience!

The experience was very interesting and pleasant. The space felt calm and peaceful and the Lady who guided us was very professional and offered informative answers to questions. She also offered hand-made confectioneries which were beautifully designed.
