Te Au Moana, translated as the ocean tide, has always been a constant throughout Oceania, connecting our islands, peoples and generations. Our Polynesian ancestors traversed these oceans tides for ages and revered them for their life sustaining properties.

This was our first trip to Hawaii and the thing I debated the most was if a luau was worth the money. I was worried I would regret not doing one and therefore we booked and I didn’t regret it.
The main reason I picked this luau is because it was not a buffet, but instead had table service (family style). This allowed us to ask questions about what was being served and try a small about before taking a full helping.
Here are my thoughts:
- free parking in the parkade
- it is a bit of a hike to get there ~10 minutes so plan accordingly for your timing.
- welcomed with a lei
- I’m not sure if our premium seats were worth the extra money per person. It didn’t seem like there was a bad seat.
- our waiter was amazing accommodating to the dietary concerns at the table, taking pictures at sunset, asked about our trip and future plans and even had written recommendations for when we left
- open bar
- food was good (not mind blowing but a good variety)
- entertainment throughout and bits of Hawaiian history
- fire dancers were our favorite
- long and slight confusing walk back to the parkade in the dark. They did offer shuttles back up
Overall happy with it, but will never need to do one again, especially at that cost.

The dinner was really good, with a variety of selections.

Absolutely the best Luau! The performance was spectacular and the setting is amazing. The food was great and the overall experience is absolutely worth it!

This was my first luau and it did not disappoint! The performances were incredible, the musicians were so talented and the emcee was so great! Open bar, good food, beautiful location. So glad we went!!

We attended this Luau dinner on April 25, and it exceeded all my expectations. The food was delicious and of great quality, with a wide variety of traditional dishes to choose from. The service was friendly and attentive, and the drinks were top-notch. The whole experience was vibrant and enjoyable, with lively entertainment and a beautiful setting. We had a fantastic time and would definitely recommend this Luau to anyone visiting Maui!

A wonderful evening immersed in Hawaiian customs, music, dance, food and drinks. The Luau was the highlight of our trip!
The food was delicious, especially the slow roasted Hawaiian pork and the chilled ahi. The Meal was served family style, so very easy to sample everything and then take more of our favorites. Seconds were made available by the waiter.
Great location, we were able to walk from our condo at Wailea Eula.
We paid for premium seating and had a front row view for the show.
All the performers were professional and appeared to love what they were doing. It’s nice to see customs still cherished and being shared.
I felt the show was worthy of the price charged.
The Fresh flower Leis were beautiful.
Our Waiter took our photos at sunset and it’s the best photo from our trip!
A spectacular night in every way!

We reserved the premium table for the show. Everything was very great except the food, i don't close my mind others will enjoy the food but for my taste wasn't good flavor, but the rest i enjoyed.. the waiter was very nice guy to treat us very well...
