Maria was an amazing tour guide. The group was small but fun and we ate SO much food. We ate for 6 hours!! The bread, pastries and meat were so delicious. We visited local food spots and learned about a lot about the culture. The best food tour we've ever done.

We took the "Vienna's Sweet and Savory Street Scene" tour on December 29. Our guide, Verena, was excellent. Along with sharing information on the food, Verena provided unique insights into Vienna, its culture and advice on things we should visit. The tour was well organized with reservations and a balance of sweet and savory foods. Verena was known in the establishments, providing us with an opportunity to speak with the bakers. It was a wonderful experience and a highlight of our stay in Vienna.

We took the "Vienna's Sweet and Savory Street Scene" tour on December 27, and our guide, Peter, was excellent. The tour was much more than any of us expected. Not only was Peter knowledgeable in the local cuisine of Vienna and Austria, but he was also knowledgeable in the history and culture of Vienna, which only added to the experience. We expected a walkabout tour of central Vienna, which we did, but it also included a tram ride to the outside areas of suburbs of Vienna where the workers and immigrants live, and so we got to experience the street food and atmosphere of that side of Vienna as well, and not just the "tourist" areas. The food portion was good, and we all walked away satisfied and full. It was obvious that Peter has a long history with food and culture, and was easily able to answer questions regarding how they intersect. A truly enjoyable experience and one of the many highlights of our trip!

We had such a wonderful time with Wolfy and his colleague Ansgar who joined us as well. My husband and I both ranked it as an absolute highlight of our time in Vienna and throughout Central Europe. It was great to really explore the city, get outside of the central touristy area, and see how people live - and eat - across the gorgeous city of Vienna.
The food was great, the company was top notch - we were a group of six and everyone was up for adventure - and Wolfy and Ansgar couldn't have been kinder or more personable. I also forgot to tell him that I don't eat red meat/pork before the tour - which could be tricky given Vienna is very sausage/meat-heavy! But he didn't miss a beat and even arranged for amazing chicken sausage so I wouldn't miss out.
As others said in their reviews, Thomas was definitely a highlight - he was so sweet and his food was incredible. But really the entire thing, from a vendor at the market to coffee at a "hipster" coffee shop at the end of the tour - was just wonderful. Highly recommend.
Biggest piece of advice is: come hungry!!

We booked a private tour and Maria was our guide. We had a great time! She was very knowledgeable, had a great sense of humour and speaks 4 languages! Definitely come hungry because by the end you will be stuffed. The first stop is coffee at a classic coffeehouse. At every stop Maria was able to accommodate everybody’s wishes, for example no alcohol. We would absolutely do this tour again and we are inspired to do more food tours in the future!

Really great food tour of Vienna. Lots of stops with chatting and story telling along the way. Many different food and drink is offered on this tour and most of the places you stop at are local spots or little market stalls a tourist would never find otherwise. Thank you Wolfie! Recommended!!!

This tour was amazing from start to finish! It was easy to meet up with Wolfgang and the group. From there we started on the tour - we tried a variety of food, explored areas of the city outside of the typical tourist areas and learned a bit about Vienna and Wolfgang himself. The portions were generous and everything was delicious. Wolfgang whisked around the city very easily and was thoughtful and friendly, both to the tour group and to all of the staff/vendors we connected with along the way. I would absolutely recommend to anyone traveling to Vienna! A note that the tour went a bit longer than stated here but that was a real bonus to me because it was so fun and engaging! I would recommend that you not book something right after so you can stay flexible!

we had a fabulous day with our guide, maria. She was very knowledgeable and made the tour very enjoyable. as far as the food stops, definitely come hungry there was no shortage of food and we enjoyed stopping at authentic places in the various districts of the city. Our favorite stop was with Tomas who had a great sense of humor, and really took tremendous pride in his goulash and other food that he served. The other fun thing was visiting the markets, which was where a number of our locations for food were located. Our family of including two teenagers had had a great time and ate well. Five stars and come hungry!!
