We have taken several food tours in various countries and enjoyed them all. But this tour with our guide Sinan is by far the best yet. The meeting place directions and communication prior to the tour were clear and concise. The tour was definitely a good value! Sinan included a wide range of foods in a wide range of settings- from street foods to small markets, to shops and Bestbakeries, to sit down restaurants. His explanations of the foods and the cultural background of each was excellent. Thank you Sinan for an excellent tour!

Our guide, Bahiri was super friendly, knowledgeable and enthusiastic. The food tour was definitely a highlight of my travels - start on the European side with a traditional Turkish breakfast, enjoy the Egyptian Bazaar, traditional Turkish soup, head over to the Asian side for stuffed mussels, tripe sandwiches, small plates, kebab, and dessert. Kadikoy itself is worth going - very cool neighborhood with tons of bars, food and a trendy vibe.

Wonderful guide!, Leyla is very knowledgeable and super fun! The tour is Highly recommended, we visited the spice market on the European side and had a Turkish breakfast. Make sure you have a good appetite, there’s plenty of food to try. Then took the ferry boat to the Asia side. Equally wonderful food and fantastic ice cream.

Tour was good/average, wish there was some more fish options however 1 mussel I guess had to suffice, personally I think it is abit pricey considered what is given to us.

A fantastic experience! Highly recommended. Was given a great overview of Turkish foods and culture. The guide was very knowledgeable and I appreciated that we went into the different market areas and stopped when something looked interesting (not just food wise). I learnt a lot and there was no pressure to eat food that I did not enjoy. As a solo traveller it was also a welcoming environment. Great value for money!
