Winsome was an excellent host. The farm is small and informal and easily explored in 30 minutes or less. The best part was tasing fresh juice from sugar cane.

My husband & I had a wonderful time touring LA Kahea Community Farm. Our guide, Winsome, obviously loves what she does & her enthusiasm really shines through. She was very patient answering all of the many questions from me and the other guests. The banana "nice" cream treat at the end of the tour was delicious (and it was so good to find a lactose-free alternative to regular ice cream). I highly recommend this tour as a worthwhile alternative to standard tourist options!

Amazing and knowledgeable Winsome created an informative experience for us. Her knowledge and enthusiasm is contagious. We learned so much about regenerative farming and the crops she grows. Both edible and medicinal species abound here.
Great for all ages and an easy terrain to walk. The treats were delicious

We had a wonderful tour! We started off with a plate of some tasty fruit and some very interesting information on regenerative farming. Jakke was a great tour guide. You could feel his passion for what he and his wife were doing on their farm. There were so many varieties of plants and it was interesting to hear how they all work together. At the end of the tour they served banana ice cream with macadamia nuts that was delicious! Definitely would recommend!

It was a great small group tour of a local farmer. Jakke did great showing us around, pointing out all the different things they grow and explaining different facts about plants. It was very fun to get to run the sugarcane through the extractor machine and drink the different varieties. He said they do cooking class along with the tour also, which I would have loved to try if we had more time!

Awesome Farm Tour from passionate organic farmers sharing their regenerative practices. We enjoyed learning the history of Taro - the native plant to the Islands, walking the fields they have planted and tasting Taro they have prepared for us.

Excited to take the Farm to Taco Tour as they have are now offering Maui Torts - make GF taco shells with Taro and Cassava flour that they sell at Upcountry Market and Swap meet each Saturday...come check them out!!

We had a great experience at the farm! They start with tasting the farm-grown fruits and an overview of regenerative farming. Then you get to crush sugar cane and make your own lemonade from the juice. The tour continues with a walk-through where they talk about all the different fruits and veggies they grow and give you lots of interesting info about regenerative agriculture and Hawaiian flora. The tour ends with a scoop of their delicious homemade banana ice cream!
