Travel from Zurich for a mostly independent day trip to the Swiss villages of Grindelwald and Interlaken, with transport included. 1. Zurich
Arrive at Sihlquai Bus Station in the morning to board the coach. On board, meet your multilingual guide for a 2-hour ride through the idyllic Bernese Oberland countryside.
2. Interlaken
After a 2-hour drive, stop for a short break in the famous town of Interlaken for a first orientation stop before continuing to Grindelwald.
3. Grindelwald
Upon arrival in Grindelwald, your guide provides you with detailed written information about Grindelwald's sights, a timetable for your train ride to Interlaken, and details about where and when to meet in Interlaken for the coach ride back to Zurich. Equipped with your helpful information, you can set off to explore the picturesque village of Grindelwald at your leisure. You can spend the whole afternoon in this village or take the train to Interlaken and explore also the other town.
4. Interlaken
Board an early afternoon train to Interlaken and spend the rest of the day as you please. Situated in the heart of the Jungfrau region, this unique town between two lakes is the adventure capital of the Bernese Oberland. Whether it's summer or winter, you'll have plenty of activities, dining and shopping opportunities to choose from. Take the cable car to the top of Harder Kulm mountain or ride the family-friendly funicular to Heimwehfluh for sweeping views across Interlaken (optional, admission fees apply). Back on the ground, head to the old quarter of Unterseen to visit the Jungfrau Region Tourism Museum, which chronicles the development of travel and tourism in Jungfrau over the past 200 years. This is Switzerland’s first museum dedicated to regional tourism (optional, admission fees apply).
5. Zurich
At the end of the day, your tour guide will pick you up in Interlaken to drive back to Zurich, where your tour started in the morning.

This was excellent, beautiful scenery, the guide Alexandra was brilliant, clear instructions, well explain about the different options available in your free time.Hightly recommended doing this tour.

Overall it was good but if you don’t want to do skii experience or cable car ride, you are better off going by yourself
Guides were amazing and it was worth going by this tour just for them

This was a full day out starting at 8am and ending at 8pm but was so worth it! Alexandra greeted us on the Coach and gave really interesting commentary along the journey, giving lots of facts and points of interest, she did a great job at informing us of timings, activities to do and meeting points. We stopped at Interlaken first for a coffee and breakfast stop, which was needed due to the early start. We then continued on to Grindelwald, we were lucky that the weather was perfect for us and we purchased tickets to go on the cable car up the mountain. There is so much you can choose to do, sledge, hike, walk or just have lunch at the top of the mountain. The views are stunning, I wouldn’t come here without the trip to the top, but this was an additional cost to consider. The train back to Interlaken to catch the return coach was about 30 minutes and this it is part of the experience. You can divide your time up between Gridelwald and Interlaken as you wish. The coach journey back to Zürich was a few hours and the driver drove competently, getting us back in good time.

The guides and bus driver were great and very friendly -
Unfortunately most of the stores, restaurants and things to do were closed, which is something the tour operator should have been more transparent about when someone is making a booking.
You should know these things - and perhaps make an adjustment in your pricing if your taking groups of people to places/cities which are basically closed with NOTHING to do once you drop us off there. Even the Christmas Market was closed!

Tour guides are nice and very welcoming. In our case, we love to go discover things, but some people may not have that spirit. Meaning, although this is an independent tour, I wish that the tour guides had provided more suggestions on what to do. Still, you don’t go to Grindelwald and Interlaken by train for less than what you paid for here so it’s always worth it, and the tour guides Elizabeth and Roberto were very nice and the bus was very warm too.

We really enjoyed the views and the ride toInterlaken and Grindenwald .
The trip was very smooth from start to finish, and Annette was a wonderful Tour Guide.We had a great driver too.
Would absolutely recommend to family and friends. Happy memories!!

Really enjoyed cable car to top of first mountain.excursion would be much better if not spending an hour in interlaken on the way ,but give people the choice to do so if they wished
