Everything about this excursion was legit. The crew were all calm, cool and experienced. I would recommend this to anyone who would be comfortable sharing the water with wild sharks.

Amazing and fresh experience for ALL (some of us swam with sharks before and some had not). Our guides were incredibly informative, patient and made sure we all had an enjoyable snorkel. Choppy waters but clear close-up views of 15-20 sharks. Singing whales underwater were also a bonus, along with a view of the first rainbow of the new year. We were provided with pictures to take with us before we left the boat. Highly recommend for anyone who loves adventure and an opportunity to see sharks in their natural environment.

Talk about the BEST experience on the island! The boys were hilarious & informative making the trip extremely enjoyable and laid back. No need to be nervous at all, these guys know what they’re doing & do it well. The trip starts off with a safety briefing, sails out a couple miles out of the harbor and that’s when the magic happens. The water was so clear & calm the day that I went making it so easy to see the sharks even from the boat. We saw a sandbar shark and several Galapagos sharks and when I tell you, there is no experience like floating with creatures so curious & gentle, it’s exhilarating. About 30 minutes water time & no need to worry about having your GoPro: they take and send all of the pictures to you immediately after you get back to the harbor. I would book this trip every day if I could!

This is my second time with Island View for swimming with the sharks. Professional, treats everyone with respect and as a friend. I originally signed up for this trip because my son wanted to do it and I found it personally and oddly relaxing. Loved this excursion so much that I’ve told many people to take this tour, plus the other day took my two daughters.

This was one of the best experiences of my entire life. If you are debating on doing it, just do it. I was absolutely terrified and I’ve never been on a boat before but I am so grateful I went through with it. The boys are so kind, understanding, and really make you feel safe. I had an amazing time that I will never forget. What a beautiful experience!!!

This is a must do if coming to the island. The guys that guided us were nothing but spectacular! We saw 11 Galapagos sharks but never felt threatened. Absolutely amazing
