What a fabulous sunset cruise! Moments after booking the excursion-the Captain reached out to setup the experience from departure pt., cocktail & food preferences, etc. What really stood out is how immaculate the vessel is – from the fly bridge to below deck/lavatory. It passes the white-glove test hands down. The captain and crew exceeded all our expectations – we enjoyed the entire experience tremendously – cocktails, charcuterie board and the sun-set . If you have any reservations concerning Captain Philip / Escandalo – DON’T. Book now or you may fail to get the date and time you were hoping for. Thank you.

First off, the boat was immaculate and well maintained. I was not entirely sure what to expect from a “luxury yacht” in PV, but I can tell you the owner of the yacht understands exactly what that should mean, and delivered. On our sunset charter we were lucky enough to have the owner, whom I jokingly referred to as the Admiral, as well as the Captain and First Mate. Everyone was attentive, knowledgeable, and helpful from the minute we arrived to our last moment on the dock. They also knew how to deliver the most amazing views and photos you could ever ask for.
Cost:
We had 4 of us in our group, so we definitely felt like we had a private boat. I did some looking at the cost and found that if you brought about 8 people, this yacht charter would have been the same price at the “cattle boat” charters. They told us we could have up to 12, and I do not believe even with that many you would ever feel cramped.
Tour:
The crew took us on a relaxing and extremely beautiful tour of the bay, always keeping it smooth and steady. We had a couple of people in our party that are prone to motion sickness, and were concerned about that, but again the crew kept it calm and no one had any issues.
Boat:
Very nice and immaculately kept 48 foot SeaRay Sedan Bridge. Plenty of room to spread out. Easy to use and spotlessly clean restrooms. They had a great music selection (we could have optioned to play our own music on the boats Bluetooth, but did not do so). The bow was spacious with comfortable cushions and seating, along with easy to use railing.
Sneaks/drinks
We were served a nice selection of snacks, and treated to premium liquor drinks, (Grey Goose for example) and our cups were never allowed to go empty.
Future:
We plan on chartering again for snorkeling and whale watching.

Everything far surpassed our expectations! The 3 hour tour, the food, the wonderful drinks, and most of all the marvelous captain Carlos and mate Victor. Fabulous investment. Many family members said “Best experience ever!” If I could give six stars I would.

One of the best experiences in Puerto Vallarta hands down. Felipe, Captain Carlo, and Victor were incredible the attention to detail was like no other, my cocktail was never empty, and the food served on board was delicious. We did a private tour up the coast first docking at la Cruz where we got to do some shopping and grabbed lunched at farmers market located conveniently on the marina. We then sailed to a private cove where we got to enjoy all the water toys, including snorkeling, paddle boarding, and kayaking for several hours. We finished the day with a ride back to the port but first stopped to enjoy the beautiful sunset where we got to see whales, dolphins and rays jumping and playing in the water. What an unforgettable experience. 10/10

Just WOW. Such an amazing Day. Felipe, Captain Carlos and Victor are the BEST. We did a private charter and had such a great experience. Felipe, Captain Charles and Victor were very accommodating. The Yacht was clean, had WIFI, and had great food and drinks. We anchored in a private cove and enjoyed all the water toys. We spotted multiple whales playing in the ocean and saw rays jumping out of the water. You will not be disappointed.

All that we can ALL say was... WOW!
12 of us enjoyed a 70th birthday w/ a 3-hour cruise that will be forever remembered. Even the whales had fun as they were everywhere!
Felipe did a fabulous job piloting the yacht, smiling, courteous… He greeted us at the dock, escorted us to the yacht, were handed glasses of Prosecco, and explained the safety rules. We were introduced to Carlos & Victor, 2 young men who catered to our every need. Victor remained down below prepping drinks and charcuterie platters while Carlos ran about. He was efficient, loads of fun, big smiles….
The yacht was beautiful. Many of us have spent many hours on the water in diff parts of the world and everyone said that it was the nicest boat they had ever been on. It was clean, clean, clean, and equipped with 2 heads, plenty of comfy seating up top, inside, at the stern, and on the bow with comfy cushions.
The captain (Felipe) accommodated our timing very precisely. We had a dinner reservation following the cruise and we disembarked on the dot! He communicated very well prior to the excursion. We discussed the route that we would take - out of the marina, north towards NV, back towards Los Arcos, and then a cruise back along the south shore of Banderas Bay where we admired the sunset, and then along the shores of downtown PV where we admired the lights at dusk and then back to the marina which, by the way, is also very beautiful in the evening.

Highly recommend chartering the Escandalo. We had a fantastic experience and made great memories as we .sailed around the Bay of Banderas. The Yacht made the day, so enjoyable and our group was able to have fun, laughs and relax a bit as well. The boat has lots of room for friends to gather. The crew was exceptional and made you feel very welcome - as if it was your own yacht. I highly recommend chartering this boat for a day you won't forget. Explore Banderas Bay and all it has to offer. Whales, Beach Clubs, and just one great time.
