Experience the unmistakable beauty of the Cape Winelands on an all-inclusive shared full-day wine-tasting tour with lunch and sample some of the best wines in South Africa. Stop at heritage monuments as you travel in a shared minibus with live commentary from your tour guide. Follow the ever-popular wine route to Stellenbosch and Franschhoek. 1. Cape Town
Shortly after pick up at your accommodation between 8:00 and 8:30 AM by a top notch tour guide/driver in a shared minibus, we head off on an all-inclusive, full-day Cape Winelands tour to Stellenbosch and Franschhoek, known as the American Express Wine Route of South Africa. Follow the Stellenbosch and Franschhoek wine route in all its splendour. You’ll enjoy wine tasting at up to 4 carefully selected award winning wine estates, all of which wine tasting fees are included, and will also enjoy a main course lunch at one of these award-winning wine farms. (We will pay for lunch for guests or travellers who booked the option of lunch price). if you did not book this option, lunch will be at own account.
2. Cape Town Central
You’ll enjoy wine tasting at up to 4 carefully selected award winning wine estates, all of which wine tasting fees are included, and will also enjoy a main course lunch at one of these award-winning wine farms. (We will pay for lunch for guests or travelers who booked the option of lunch price). if you did not book this option, lunch will be at own account. We will visit Delaire Graff Wine Estate (5 Premiums wines, Tokara Wine Estate (4 premium wines), Delheim Wine Estate (6 premium wines)& Fairview Wine Estate (5 premium wines with a variety of cheese pairing)
3. Stellenbosch
Driving time to Stellenbosch is estimated to be approximately 45 minutes. We will drive from Cape Town City towards Stellenbosch, Paarl & Franschhoek known as the Cape Winelands of South Africa. Here We will explore one of the best Wine Route in South Africa known as the American Express Wine Route. You will drive through Cape Town Northern Suburbs and your Expert Tour Guide will share the history of the areas you will be passing through. Small group equals to better experience. Stellenbosch means "(van der) Stel's Bush”
4. Delaire Graff Estate
Our first wine estate will be Delaire Graff, known as the Jewel of Cape Winelands. This is one of the most beautiful wine estate in South Africa. Your visit to Cape Winelands will not be considered complete if you don't visit Delaire Graff. Here you will taste 5 premiums carefully selected award winning wines made of Red and White Cultivars or Varieties. This tour is crafted to give you a maximum wine tasting experience in a quiet environment as We avoid the big tourists group. Please take note that the drinking of age of alcohol in South Africa is from 18 years and above. Inspired by the landscape, culture and natural beauty of its Cape Winelands setting, Delaire Graff Estate is a destination devoted to beauty in its many forms. 5. Tokara Wine Estate
We will continue to the world class wine estate Tokara as our second wine estate and here we will taste up to 4 premium award winning wines. If you love good food, great wine, and unparalleled views, clear your schedule and escape for a day to Tokara. Nestled on the upper slopes of the Simonsberg mountain, Tokara vineyard and olive grove overlook two of mother nature’s most awe-inspiring
6. Delheim
We proceed to Delheim for Lunch pairing with 6 careful selected award-winning wines. Lunch is only made by the main course for those guests who bought the Lunch option included in the tour. High on the slopes of the Simonsberg Mountain, 50 km from Cape Town, lies the family-owned Delheim estate. Here the Sperling family has been making wines of character for many decades. Visitors to this beautiful farm will be greeted by breathtaking views and welcomed by a true sense of family hospitality!
7. Fairview Wine and Cheese
.Our next stop after our beautiful lunch will be Fairview wine estate where We will sample up to 5 premiums wines paired with a variety of the best cheese produced at this award winning wine estate.. Fairview is a working farm, housing a collection of micro-businesses all sharing in a common goal – to create artisanal and sustainable produce, with a focus on fine wine and cheese.
8. Groot Drakenstein Prison
We then head to the Drakenstein Prison known as the last prison where Nelson Mandela was freed from on the 11th of February 1990 after spending 2 years in Prison there. we will take some memorable photos of Nelson Mandela Monument
9. Franschhoek
We then proceed to Franshoek for a Town orientation tour of approximately 30 minutes another moment for those Instagram photos. Visit their flagship monument and many more places of interest.
10. Cape Town Central
We return to Cape Town where We will drop you off after a memorable wine tour experience of Cape Town.

Don’t buy the lunch option!!! We paid 40 USD for the lunch but our limit was 300 rand which is 15 USD.. The rest is taken by Viator. This is unethical and I will not book any tours from Viator again!! I asked for a refund and I was rejected!! So ugly!

Had a fantastic day exploring some of the winelands lovely vineyards, despite the storms the previous few days.

From the moment Ruben let us know he was running a few minutes late due to traffic to when we were dropped off, Ruben was brilliant. Really informative, fun and always letting us know what to expect at each visit as well as changes that had to be made to the schedule due to storm damage preventing certain vineyards opening.

The staff at each vineyard were also really great, including everyone in the tour and making sure we all new what we were drinking throughout that tasting.

The wines were lovely, the scenery was stunning and I would definitely recommend this as a day trip from Cape Town.

What an excellent day of wine discovery in several very different places between Stellenbosch Franschhoek and Paarl our guide Steven was wonderful with his kindness and knowledge and we tasted truly delicious wines in magnificent places I recommend this unforgettable day

Picked up from hotel and whisked off to Stellenbosch where we had time for a mooch around the town before diving into the wine-tastings. 20 wines from 4 different vineyards with lunch in Franshhoeck. Tour guide Morne was very knowledgeable and good fun

A truly memorable day. Each winery had its own characteristics. Scenery was amazing and our guide couldn’t do enough for us.
Well worth the cost of the tour. Would recommend to anyone looking to do the wineries with information behind each one and what to expect.

Our driver and tour guide Charlton was fantastic! Prompt, helpful, and very professional. He checked us in at each tasting site, made sure we understood the timing and details. We had a beautiful day. We saw 100+ working ducks at our first vineyard, tasted beautiful wine at three other vineyards, and had a beautiful lunch.

We had a fantastic private day tour with Morne in Stellenbosch and the wine region! My group of 18 enjoyed multiple wines, a wine and cheese pairing and gin tasting! Aside from the wonderful wines, the scenery was overwhelming! Thank you Morne and David for a great day touring. Highly recommend!
