Despite mediocre weather we had a great short trip to Stavanger. We stayed in the excellent Radisson Blu in the centre of the Town and enjoyed trips on the Hop on Hop off bus and cruise of the Linsefiord. Excellent restaurants, welcoming people, very clean city -only regret was we could not see the Cathedral which is undergoing extensive refurbishment.

Our guide Anatoly was funny and knowledgeable. We did a two hour walking tour through Stavanger and he timed the tour perfectly- and was able to tailor the tour to our interests. . A great way to learn about life in Stavanger.

Anatoly was a great guide. Although not a long time local, he obviously did his homework and provided a ton of interesting information on the history and present day life in Stavanger.

We knew our guide was not a professional guide but ours was not even a local. Plus she couldn't walk. We just let her go early because we were dragging her around. She added no value, knew nothing, wasted our time. Maybe you will get lucky, we were not.

Miroslava gave an excellent and fascinating walking tour of Stavanger. She clearly has a detailed knowledge of the history and culture of the area and despite poor weather conditions, we covered a wide area of the city over the 2 hours. Thankyou!
