Jim was a great tour leader. He shared a lot of information before we got on the ferry. He was especially good at looking after us since we are 87 and 88 years old.

Just do not bother.
This trip is not even worth seeing the Statue of Liberty, just enjoy it from afar because this trip is a nightmare.
Our time slot was for 10am, it took 1 and a half hours of queuing in a cramped line to get to the ferry.
Once on the ferry, it was filled so much you couldn’t even see anything from the boat.
Once arriving at the statue, you queue again, and then to get back on the ferry to go to island you queue again.
We ended up finally getting back to NYC at around 2/3pm, it used up the entire first half of our day to spend 15 minutes at each attraction.
It’s a draining and horrible trip, I wouldn’t of done it for free if it was offered to me. In the time it took to do this trip, we had seen almost every single other attraction in Manhattan on a different day.

Totally amazing!!! Got my tickets! Perfect directions where to meet! Amazing guide-Jeff!!! So knowledgeable!!!! Kept our group of 22 together at all times!!!! We had an amazing group of people from around world!!!!! Kept the tour to the 3 hour tour! (Some had appointments to get to!) if and when I come back to NYC I will be reaching out to you!!!

We booked tickets for the boat leaving at 1PM, maybe you‘re better off booking the first one at 9AM. Here‘s why it was a nightmare for us:
We waited for approx. 1 hour to board the boat from Battery Park to the Statue of Liberty. The boat was super full and I honestly have my doubts how safe it actually is. As the lines on both the islands, Statue of Liberty and Ellis, were so long, we didn‘t get off the boat at all. Of course we could have done it but we would have risked to wait again for an hour or more each time.
All in all the worst experience on our NYC trip as very poorly organized. I recommend choosing a more exclusive boat tour or if your budget is limited just cross the river with the Staten Island Ferry which is free.
