We had a fabulous day with Humphrey, our guide. He was charming, knowledgeable and easy to be with all day. Unfortunately we were the only people on the tour - unfortunate for Humphrey and his ability to earn tips - but fabulous for us as we had his full attention on the “private tour.” I highly recommend this trip as an intro to the island, seeing every major bay, swimming at 2, and time for lunch in Marigot. Only downer was the tour was on a Sunday and most small shops in Marigot were closed.

So much promise - perhaps we expected too much. For our particular group the audio was not so good, driver's accent was difficult for us to understand. We felt the driver was not "in love" with the island himself. We did see the island, but didn't understand much of the explanations.

David was out guide and took great care of us I. The island tour we took with 12 of our closets friends. It was great to learn the history of the island, the impact of Hurricane Irma and get some great recommendations for places to go.

This tour was top notch. Our guide Humphrey was extremely nice and super knowledgeable about the history, culture, and geography of the island. We made many stops, some briefs for photos, and 3 longer ones for beaches and lunch in Marigot. The bus was comfortable, cool, and supplied with assorted complimentary drinks. We were picked up and dropped off at our hotel in Philipsburg. I’ve been in many tours and ship excursions and this one stands out as being great value for the money. Highly recommended.

Our tour guide was amazing! Humphrey was very knowledgeable and made the trip very interesting. Washable to see all the sites on both sides of the island.

This is a driving tour of St. Martin/Marteen by a wonderful older gentleman of Dutch extraction, Humphrey, who obviously knows and loves the island well, good and bad. He has a sly sense of humor, brings along a cooler of liquid refreshment as can be needed on this tour, and a supply dried corn to feed the wild roosters along the way. There is some difficulty for those who aren't 100% mobile, but nothing that can't be overcome. This was the best of the island tours we took on this cruise.
Note: the instructions from Viator about how to find the tour when getting off a ship are not adequate. Nearly everyone had trouble finding it. You need to walk off the pier and keep going through the port complex until you think you're there, then go further into a cindered parking lot with a shade tent, a very long walk past two other tour meeting sections of the port. They give the gps coordinates for the location, but we weren't able to easily use that. There needs to be a map. Tour operators said they have tried to solve the problem without success. We nearly missed it.

Montgomery, our guide was very informative.He took us to all the places on the itinerary except the last one, as some people had to get back to their ship. Some passengers were very loud in
telling the guide that they wanted to return and not do the last stop.
We felt sorry for Montgomery that he had to put up with this .
A very good trip apart from the vocal guests,
Perhaps, passengers should tell the guide when they need to return.

Great tour with Humphrey from Amigo tours. We were taken all around St Martin with beautiful stops on the way. Our guide was very knowledgeable & accommodating; he tried his best to give us a good time. The bus was in great shape & the air conditioning was a blessing in the heat! They also provided some coolers on the bus, which was awesome. Good value for money for sure!
Something to keep in mind: If you are on a cruise ship, let the driver know your return timings at the start of the tour, as there may be a bit of a delay with traffic on some routes.
