St Maarten Shore Excursion: Orient and Maho Beach Half-Day Tour

I would recommend this tour for anyone. It's a half day well spent for a quick tour of both sides of the island.

Humphrey, our driver and guide, was both fun and knowledgeable. He made the drive to Orient Bay and Maho Beach even more enjoyable. The rum punch was excellent! Also, Amigo Tours support provided clear instructions when we contacted them for directions to the pick up point. This made things easier for us. Both beaches were beautiful (although Maho Beach was packed in the afternoon). We loved watching the planes fly above our heads and land just behind us. It was truly exciting and a must-do experience. This excursion is highly recommended!

Maho beach was alot of fun. Unfortunately our first stop to Orient Bay had rain for most of our time there Also seaweed was abundant

We had a great day, we first went to Orient Beach, the water was not very choppy that day so it was a great time swimming and the weather was great!! Then we went to Maho Beach! This was fun! You just can’t get enough every time there is a plane coming you just want to stand there watch the plane pass by you just above your head !

The only hitch was that the initial meeting location was hard to find, and we were a couple minutes late. After that everything was great. Driver was very informative and accommodating. Provided water, soda, beer or rum punch during the tour.
Maho Beach was a blast!

Even though we had a problem with the van midway through, the problem was quickly resolved and we missed nothing. The guide was passionate about the island which made the tour enjoyable. Beach time was great. There was just enough time at each spot.

1st off, I did not receive ANY information where, when or what time to meet for this excursion. I wandered around looking for the tour for approximately 30 min. As I was waiting to see if I would get a text or info from the tour company, 2 ladies just happened to ask if I was on this tour. Thank god they did. We all 3 found the area to be in and left on the tour bus. It was air conditioned, and felt great. Orient beach was very nice. I was able to rent a chair and umbrella for a reasonable amount. Loved this beach. Maho beach was much busier, but still beautiful. Don, our tour guide and driver gave a lot of information about both sides of the island. The only reason I’m giving this tour 3 stars, is due to lack of information on where to meet.

We went on a family cruise with our kids and another family. We wanted to have a relaxing beach day but also wanted a little excitement. So we chose this excursion. We absolutely loved our driver and the experience was amazing.

We jet skied and parasailed at Orient Beach on the French side. Then we had lunch at Maho Beach which had delicious rice and peas and my favorite Johnny cake. We also saw at least 10 planes land/take off. Angelo, our guide, was very friendly and informative! This tour was awesome!! My only complaint is that it couldn’t last longer!

The beaches were nice but the 1 thing that stands out is we got back to the ship about 40 minutes after boarding time they did wait for us.
