The time with Kenneth was great but we feel cheated that we missed 2 hours of our beach time. He had two different tours scheduled at the same time. We had paid for the 5 hour tour and the other couple a lesser tour with no beach time. Kenneth told us to work it out because if we did t go back on the same ferry, one of us would have to pay for transportation back to the ship( we had arrived at the ferry with tbe same driver) We really had no choice but to compromise with 1 hour on tbe beach rather than the 3 we had paid for and this benefitted the other couple who had paid for no beach time. Poor planning on someone’s part.

Great experience overall. Our driver was amazing and the scenery beautiful. Trunk Bay beach was gorgeous, the sand and the water. Even saw a manta ray up close passing by and touching ppl including my nephew. The water is also quite warm and warming... Enjoy!!!

We were on a cruise that stopped for the day in St. Thomas. We booked the tour to St. John. While waiting to depart the ship the tour guide called me and told me if I wasn't there in 5 minutes he was leaving without me. Strike one. Then we run to the meeting spot and get on the bus to go to the Ferry to St. John. It was a very long ride with a driver who I am sure lived under a bridge somewhere. We paid the money for the Ferry and that part was ok. It was a short ride to St. John on a nice day. Once we docked in St. John a different driver met us and it went WAY DOWNHILL from there. He was very unfriendly and it felt like any minute we were going to be taken hostage. Of course we weren't but that was the vibe. He stopped the bus and made a very big deal of grilling us on whether or not we were US Citizens and if we weren't there would be trouble. It was creepy. The sugar plantation turned out to be a small stone wall overgrown with weeds. I would never recommend this tour to anyone.

Great tour of St John! Kenneth was very knowledgeable and we were able to see so much of the island! Trunk Bay was gorgeous! Our family had a wonderful day!

Points given for prompt pickup on St Thomas. Points removed for breakneck driving for more pickups at hotels and other cruise ships in open air "taxi" (really a pickup with rows of seats on the back under a canopy), and NO seatbelts! He did get us to the ferry on time, and that was a fine 20 minute ride.
The pickup on St. John was ok,, and that driver wisked us around the hilly & twisting roads in similar breakneck fashion, but he got us to all the advertised attractions. He was courteous but quite nonchalant. - i.e. not overly friendly.
We had about 1-1/2 hours in Trunk Bay, plenty of time to rent a mask & snorkel and tool around. Beautiful beach with perfect sand and good snorkeling.
Overall, was it worth it? I'm not sure but I'm not sure you have a lot of options if you are on a cruise ship schedule.

The diver on the St Thomas side was on time very friendly and helpful. He really love his work. The tour guide was outstanding and fun to be with. Very knowledgeable.

Kenneth, our tour guide was not available and transferred us to kadesha who showed us only the beaches and that was the tour, two hours on trunk bay and nothing else. We could have done that ourselves and pay less. I even had to pay my own fare for the ferry. My worse trip..

Trunk Bay is the most beautiful beach I have ever seen and this tour made it possible to get there (& back!) with no hassle. Kenneth was informative and passionate and clearly cares about the island. At first I was dismayed that we'd only have fifteen minutes to walk around the Annaberg ruins but that's honestly all you need, especially since it wasn't crowded. Hamblet made sure we got to the ferry with more than enough time and was diligent in picking up the other couple even though they were at a different entrance than expected.
Cons
-A lot of time was spent talking about the plight of veterans and I think it was a downer to the active soldier.
-It's a long, hot tour with no snacks or water. BRING WATER.
-I never wanted to leave the beach and wish we had more time there (our ferry was late and we spent a lot of time at photo spots but I think that time would be better spent at the beach)
