Great trip. Fun time on the snow mobile. Make sure you layer socks unless you have very good insulated boots. There is a lot of standing around time waiting for people to suit up and waiting for snowmobiles to return so your feet are in the snow a long time. They don’t let you ride the ski like you want to. You have to stay in a single file line and stay at a fairly slow speed but still not bad.

Great fun from start to finish. We were
picked up at the meeting point by a monster bus which was exciting in itself! The views out of the windows of the snowy landscape were just breathtaking. We were given all the gear and then gathered around to listen to the operating instructions which were simple enough. I think it was a 25 minute drive to the photo stop. A few people toppled over their snowmobiles but as the guy said at the start it was no big deal, the snow makes a soft landing and they were soon righted and on their way! At the photo stop we all had a chance to get off, do a rider swap and take some photos. There was lots of laughter and chatting before the ride back to the start. The landscape is just phenomenal, you feel like you’re in the middle of the North Pole! Just great fun, worth every penny!

Not worth it. We did the afternoon tour and it was dark after the 45 min plus ride to the glacier. Nothing to see.

Where should I start to compliment this crew?
Driver, who picked us up from Golden falls was great. He maneuvered to get us through the snow to the snowmobiles point, superbly!
Crew at the snowmobile site was very helpful and knowledgeable in preparing us for the ride.
I must single out Janus- who was outstanding in explaining how to work the snowmobile- providing scenarios with demonstration for our safety, and how to get up if we fall in the snow, hit a bump or experience any difficulties!
I have to give this crew and exceptional review!

Terrific experience! Husband is US 4X 6'4 and the suit didn't fit. Luckily, he had his own. Riding on the back roads to the Glacier was one of a kind experience. Highly recommend

Brilliant trip and experience on the glacier, only negatives are large bus of 57 so took a while when getting changed into snow suits and when we got to the snow mobile camp to start up and drive.
Would have been nice to have abit of freedom, obviously due to health and safety reasons there’s a track to follow but maybe each snow mobile could be spread out more so we could go faster? Felt like we was doing the Macarena we was that close. I suppose everyone has different levels of experience, we were advanced.
Maybe abit more time on the snow mobiles needed due to the big group size.
Overall we had a great time and would do it again in a smaller group.

It was awesome!! I read the reviews about long wait times etc, however that was not our experience at all. We met at the meeting place, they were super organized we checked in with Jose. The bus ride to the base camp was awesome, that alone was worth it, the views were spectacular!! Base camp got changed back on the bus for a 15 min ride to the Glacier. It was beautiful, snowmobiling was awesome, you do share… so when we booked this we obviously thought for the price per person we each got a snowmobile, but we didn’t. If I did this again I’d book individually to get our own. When we got to base camp they told us it was an additional $150 for to ride separately, so booking individually would be cheaper. Over all great tour! Would book again!!!

A fun packed adventure from the moment the experience began. The only reason I haven’t given it 5 stars is because the guides weren’t as friendly as other guides on the other experiences I did. It would have been nice to hear about the glacier and the area of Iceland we were visiting. The only interaction from our guide was when he was telling us what to do.

The actual snowmobiling was truly amazing and breathtaking at some moments. The overall and helmet provided keep you warm even during windy conditions. Guides were eager to respond to any questions thrown at them.
