I wasn't around any of the specific hotel pick-up locations, but was given a pickup location. A reminder is given a day or 2 before, so do keep an eye out for all email. The driver showed a bit late for meeting time by at most 5 mins at most, no biggie. But the tour was great, the view of the environment, the wildlife, the river, plants, etc. While on the bus ride to the everglades, there's even a nice little pre-tour briefing on alligators, get to hear fun facts about them. And after the tour, there's a free alligator show to watch, a display of exotic animals the park kept, and an option to take photos with a baby gator and ball python (if you pay a little extra). Overall a great tour, would go again.

The pick up bus driver Hagan was great. He was so friendly and welcoming. Once we got there the air boat did an amazing job and was extremely informative. I would definitely do it again with my kids.

Excellent driver/guide that was passionate and very knowledgable. The pickup was on time and comfortable.
The airboat tour was interesting, but the park itself was a bit underwhelming. Nice to receive a free photo. Remember to bring earplugs as the V8 engines on the boat are extremely load (120 dB+) when revved.

Our bus driver was fantastic and incredibly service orientated.
He was chocka block full of information and detail regarding the Everglades.
The Gator show after the air boat trip was also very informative and entertaining and included a lot of very close up action with very large gators.
One may consider air plugs for the air boat ride air when they open the throttle it was very very load.

The tour operator states there are two tour times but does not allow you to pick the time, even if requesting in advance. Was only notified 15 minutes in advance of the tour at 7:45am that they would arrive at the hotel. Was charged but never got to take the tour. Did not respond when I asked if it could be rebooked for following day.

The trip was very great! The driver, Christian, was on time and very polite. He helped make everything go smoothly. The fan boat ride was cool and we got to see an alligator swimming right by the boat in the water!

Christian was our tour guide and was friendly, funny, and knowledgeable about the Everglades. He made sure to take pictures of each family at nice spots. He was the reason this tour didn't get lower ratings.
During our airboat tour we got to see a variety of birds and a couple alligators...kinda...for a minute until they went under the water. I was very disappointed that the pictures of the airboat on the viator site didn't align to what we rode (false advertising?). We had a covered boat which limited viewing of the birds and trees, we were all on the same level and I think the covered boat actually increases the noise of the airboat (bring earplugs if you take this tour). There were also way more people than are pictured in the photos....think more like 30 people on the boat and the front row truly had the best seats. When we got back to the dock, the alligator show had started a bit earlier so we were told we would need to wait till 4:55pm (about 15-20 more min) before they would do another. However, when we went over there at 4:55 they allowed us to sit but because they kept waiting for more boats to start the show, they didn't start the show till about 5:25. The show was good and they tried to engage and make part of the last 10 minutes of the waiting time entertaining, but the wait time combined with the heat really put a damper on the fun. (Thankfully the bleachers, where the show was, had a covering so the sun wasn't on us). After this show we waited another 15-20 min to let folks have more time to use the restroom (only 2 stalls for the women) and then all 15 of us got back in the tight van and headed back).
Viator advertised this as a 3 hour tour that departed between 7:45am and 1:45pm. We received an email saying our pick up was at 2:11pm and despite sending an email to Banana Joe, no one ever responded answering our questions regarding why the time was later than advertised nor what time we'd arrive back. We didn't arrive back until about 6:45pm. Not exactly how I would've hoped to spend mother's day, but eh, I guess now I know I don't need (or want) to do that again.
There was an everglade tour that used headsets to help with noise and allowing you to talk to each other, it also was smaller and open to the air (a totally different company). If I would even consider this again, I probably would choose to do that one.

they are really smart! they reserve the right to inform you the afternoon before the tour of the pick-up time at the pre-arranged meeting point...
Why ?? because then you no longer have the possibility to cancel the reservation!
Sunday 5 May, in transit in Miami we wanted to take a tour of the Everglades, we book, we indicate the hotel that was included in the meeting points they selected, but the afternoon before they send us an email that they would pick us up at 7.35 in the morning !!
for an excursion that lasts 3 hours in total as indicated by them, a family with children can wake up at 6.00 in the morning and not even have breakfast given that in almost all hotels breakfast starts at 7.30??
we tried calling several times, we also sent emails but nothing, they never respond!! so they also avoid the hassle...
Unfortunately, under these conditions we were forced to give up the excursion.
obviously we requested a refund (262.00 dollars!) but to no avail.
And to think that on their page it says: "we make sure no question goes unanswered" ridiculous!!
maybe banana joe tours should sell more...
I hope at least that Tirpadvisor, which has always made its customers' reviews its strong point, will seriously consider the removal of this tour operator given that, unfortunately we only read them after the incident, there are other reviews that tell the same facts..

Our tour guide/driver-hagen- was funny and very informative. Our Captain-Chris—was informative and very pleasant. All in all…the 4 of us had a wonderful and entertaining afternoon at the Everglades!
