Nam is a very knowledgeable guide. She took us on a food walking tour and showed us how to eat each food. She explained the various cultural influences and showed us what the food was made from. She told us the history of old Phuket Town as we walked around. We ate delicious food and Nam made sure we kept hydrated during the warm day. Nam went out of her way to ensure we had a good time, enough food and drink and then could get back to our hotel.

We had a really nice time with our guide, Lucky. This experience was one that really opened doors for us to learn about the Thai culture, which we wouldn’t have explored otherwise. Our guide was helpful and ensured we thoroughly enjoyed the tour. Lastly, the food was amazing, all the 22 tastings we did! I’d highly recommend it to everyone visiting Phuket.

My mom and I had an amazing time walking the streets of Phuket Old Town with Nam, Aimee and Ti. Listening to the rich history and seeing the beautiful friendly people really rounded out this gastronomic experience.

I absolutely loved everything about the tour. Lucky, my tour guide was excellent! She went above and beyond! So kind and friendly. If you are a foodie you will be in heaven! 20+ food tastings ! Go hungry! The varieties of flavors and spices that has influence Thai dishes through the years such as Chinese, India, Malaysia et.c

Our guide Lucky (not sure on spelling) was fabulous, we had a fantastic day eating delicious food & learning about the local cuisine. Definitely do not eat breakfast, as there is a lot of food to try - we sampled 22 different things, all of which were amazing! Thank you so much for a great day, which was very well run & and all round a wonderful experience. Highly recommended.

We had such a great experience on this food tour! It consisted of 6 stops - varying from street food to local restaurants. It was well balanced, with intermittent walking segments to help digest the food.
Our tour guide’s name was Nam and she was incredibly knowledgeable about the history of Phuket as well as all the cultures and cuisines in the region.
Would definitely recommend this food tour for everyone! You get the history, get to eat delicious food, and spend the afternoon with wonderful Thai people

Brilliant tour around the city, with lots to eat. As a tourist I would have never chosen the restaurants on my own, but It was soooo god.
Brilliant guide, gave us many insides into the city as well. She also helped us with getting a good deal on the transportation back to the Hotel.
Complete recommendation!

Firstly a huge thankyou to our guide Nam she was fantastic and really knowledgeable on the many cultures behind the flavours that make up Phuket.
There is no doubt when they say come hungry, come hungry, I left the tour very full with complete satisfaction.
We made our way though Old Town Phuket with a locals insight from our guide Nam, into the many stories by generations of cooking, each tasting as
delicious and interesting while packing in different flavours from the multi cultures that make up the food community of Phuket.
Thankyou Nam from A Chef's Tour I felt lucky to have had such a wonderful guide.
